She gave a good performance, but the chorus still blows and the visual asthetic still came off as awkwardly dated.

Few of us were saying that Fergie's ascent was more organic and thus shouldn't be deemed floppish given her lack of exposure (Gwen had the voice, clear channel deal and video all released early!). Fergie's was released few weeks earlier than Gwen's so it's shown some more stability and longevity so far. But yeah both trajectories are similar --certainly not the smash vs flop many thought will be though :))

Her sales are holding up decently. I wish radio would give it a little more love.

Quite pleased and surprised this is holding up nicely on iTunes in the top 30. Really wish Interscope would've pushed this a bit more, as it seems it would've definitely have helped it become a solid hit.

Her sales have done very well considering the lack of airplay it has received. I keep forgetting it was the theme song to one of the Kardasian spin off shows. Perhaps that has helped to.

That's strange isn't it a little late for new remixes? It doesn't cost a label any money to put music on ITunes does it?

These were the remixes commissioned for the club promotion and for the Dance radio format to play. Some of Fergie's singles from The Dutchess had official remixes too, but just a few. At least they have made them available for purchase this time while the song was still a single.

Is this getting a lot of airplay in the UK as well?

Is this getting a lot of airplay in the UK as well? It wasn't playlisted by BBC Radio 1, but it received some airplay from Capital FM.
Climbs 124 spots to #3 in the UK, becoming her fifth overall Top 10 there. #1. "Gettin' Over You" (David Guetta & Chris Willis featuring Fergie & LMFAO)#2. "Big Girls Don't Cry" #3. "London Bridge" #3. "L.A. LOVE (La La)" #6. "Glamorous" (featuring Ludacris)

really just shows how big this could've been. right when sales picked up, radio still rejected her.

Yeah, I definitely think radio pulled the plug on this too fast. Oh well.

It's still doing fairly well in streaming. Still #58 on Spotify. Also, #115 on iTunes. For a song that barely scraped the top 20 on pop a few months ago, those are great numbers.

I think given her age, length of time since her breakthrough, and length of time since her last album, she needed to come out with something more immediate than this. Yeah, there are signs listeners warmed up to this somewhat over time, but she's on the verge of becoming one of the "pop stars of yesterday"; radio's not going to wait months and months for a club track from her to possibly grow on listeners.

Also she didn't have any relevant live performance until the song plateaued in the charts, right before its sales rebound. Had she made one performance earlier maybe radio would've waited longer before dropping it

Maybe this song could pull the Ceelo Green Fuck You and just come back out of nowhere and get that #1. LOL
I wouldn't mind that though. I still like this song. It hasn't burned out on me yet

It's amazing to me that in the UK, this dinky little song has outpeaked most of the US smash singles from the prime of Fergie's career. It just goes to show that despite the obvious similarities in US and UK pop culture, Britain is far more culturally nostalgic while America is all like "here today, gone tomorrow" and on to the next shiny new thing.
