Anybody found a way to preview the 3 bonus tracks? I really don't want to pay Target $10 for just them unless they're REALLY good. Spoken as a true fan. |

Appreciate the offer though. I'll just chill out and complain a couple more days until I talk myself into buying it lol. Update... Got the bonus tracks and I got to say, I'm disappointed they aren't on the album. All 3 are probably just as good or better than all the songs on the album (save for maybe Miss That Girl, Two Night Town, and Too Fast). I'd have preferred the bonus tracks switched with "Sweet Little Something, Laid Back, and I Took it With Me...if that's the case, I think most people's opinion of this album becomes a lot more favorable. Either way, "Fast Lanes" is already stuck in my head after one listen! Haha. |

Picked up the album yesterday, and "Sweet Little Somethin'", "Laid Back" and "Burnin' It Down" (decent pop song, bad country song), this is a pretty strong album IMO. I'd give it 8 or 8.5/10.
Top tracks: "Tryin' to Love Me", "Too Fast" and "Two Night Town"

I had to order it on eBay, since the deluxe edition wasn't available here (I hate when that happens!). Hopefully it'll come in a couple weeks.

I'm enjoying this album quite a bit. It's an easy listen and a lot of catchy songs on there. I bought the Target version, and of all 18 tracks, Burnin it Down is by far my least favorite! Really like Trying to Love You. Hope that will be a single. I like Just Getting Started too. I could easily see that as a single.

Just got the album and I do like it a lot.
I just hope that "Two Night Town" and "Tryin' to Love Me" (my favorite) are singles.

This album has been growing on me the more I hear it. A few of the songs still sound pretty similar to me, which I guess would be my biggest complaint overall with it, but I do think that it's a good album. "Two Night Town" is my favourite track at this point, though I also really do like "Gonna Know We Were Here", "Just Gettin' Started" and "Laid Back", among others.
I think that Kenny Chesney's similar themed "If This Bus Could Talk" is a far better song than Jason's "If My Truck Could Talk", and the similar theme maybe stops me from really liking Jason's. I would never have picked "Burnin' It Down" as the single after hearing the album, but it's obviously been a very big hit. I could see it getting a CHR or HotAC push soon.
