"Never Gonna Let You Down" is a song from Colbie Caillat's latest album, Gypsy Heart. It looks like this may serve as the follow-up to "Try". Since "Try" is still moving up the charts, nothing will be announced yet. But there is a lyric video to this song on her VEVO account now.

UGH, seriously? This was my least favorite on the EP and probably in my bottom 3 on the album. :( I want Floodgates or Break Free.

Ditto Drag - this was my least favorite on the EP. We've got a long time before they move on from "Try," presuming the pop push goes well, so I'm not too worried yet.

Her team is absolute the worst at picking the single choices. I like the song but it is obviously not the best single choice. Floodgates, Break Free, Live It Up and Blaze all say hi! Ugh.
But I do have to admit that the video was so cute. Maybe it's just the song ASPCA will use for commercials or other promotion purposes? I don't know.

If You Love Me Let Me Go is my favorite from the album, followed by Blaze & Live it Up. I could see any of those 3 doing good, assuming Try actually takes off.

Is this only the second single or did they service a different song after "Try"?

Welp, that's already more promo than I was expecting. maine: Nope, this is second unless you include "Hold On." I'm kind of surprised at what a low priority she seems to have been for Republic, especially after the "Try" video got so big.

Oh, well they blew it with "Try" hard. And this probably won't do anything since Republic seems to just have completely disregarded her.

Few months later, this song has grown on me a lot and I do like it. The music video/lyric video is just adorable.
And honestly, I am just grateful Colbie is finally getting a second single from the underrated gem of album. However, this is not going to do a thing because it is way too late. They should've at least pushed this (or If You Love Me Let Me Go) in February/March after Try peaked in January.
I'm appalled at how Republic is handling her right now. I mean, Republic is a fantastic label (for many other artists) but it looks like Colbie is at the very bottom of their list. Sad, really because Colbie is a magnificent artist who deserves better.

The update looks a bit promising. It doesn't have any adds date as of yet and it's almost Top 50! I hope other stations catch on to this and make it explode. Then Colbie can leave Republic for all I care because they're handling her terribly.

Flabbergasted at this still being on the AC chart without ever actually taking off.

This has been on the chart for 668 days and has only peaked at #27. What? ETA: I made this thread in 2014.

Only AC can pull that off; "Die a Happy Man" and "Shape of You", although much more recent, are still on the chart as well.

It found a loophole in the chart: don’t peak high enough to go recurrent and chart forever.
If you look at recurrents on AC, there are over twenty songs with even longer chart runs that are getting much more play, including “Fight Song” and “Blank Space.”
