Intro: Hello and welcome back to the Top 44. As you may have guessed, we have a new #1 as Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar move up 2-1 with "Don't Wanna Know." The 47th #1 went up a spot every week since its debut from #7, making it (as far as I know) the first summit leader to go up a spot every week from its debut to the top. Thanks to its strong mainstream factor, Maroon 5 knocks Martin Garrix and Bebe Recha's "In the Name of Love" down to #2. Still, they are within reach of regaining the summit and boast a strong lead over its falling competition. gnash and Olivia stay out at #3 with "ihu, ilu," Hailee Seinfeld and company stay put at #4 with "Starving," and Ariana and Nicki remain at #5 with "Side to Side." The only song to boast a significant gain is STS, which could set up a possible run to the Top 3 soon.
Alessia Cara stays at #6 with "Scars to Your Beautiful," Shawn Mendes vaults 10-8 with "Mercy," and Bruno Mars stays at #9 with "24K Magic." Two songs enter the Top 10 this week as John Legend soars 15-7 with "Love Me Now" and Jon Bellion rises 14-10 with "All Time Low."
Thanks to everyone who is participating in the Fall Tournament. The next round ends later tonight. As for what's happening currently around the forum, I am aware of the PMA nominations and all I can say is what's done is done. Ignore what is past, just move right along. As always, thanks for following my chart.

Intro: And so concludes the 2016 tracking period. Hello and welcome back to the chart. You've probably been thinking that this chart hasn't seen much significant action in a while, right? Not the case this week! Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha benefit from a strong week and both steal points and take a commanding lead on top for a 4th week. Below, Shawn Mendes gains only a little this week, but it's enough to earn him his second #2 song here as "Mercy" rolls 4-2. His time in the runner-up spot may be short lived though as a fairly new up and comer charges. MGK and Camilia's duet, "Bad Things," storms 10-3 and is in a strong position to take #2 next week and challenge the summit as early as the 28th. Below, Maroon 5's habit of going up or down one spot is broken as it falls 2-4 with "Don't Wanna Know," and gnash's "ihu, ilu" spends its 17th week in the Top 5 at #5.Taking the biggest beat from the shift is Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's "Side to Side," falling 3-6 this week. Adele charges up 9-7 with "Water Under the Bridge," Alessia Cara falls 6-8 with "Scars to Your Beautiful," and John Legend falls 7-9 with "Love Me Now." Debuting at #10 this week is The Weeknd's "I Feel it Coming."Just below, three other songs debut on the chart, resulting in a massive sea of red this week in the lower half. Out of the four debuts this week, one is certainly keep climbing, two will most likely succeed in the next few months to come, and one may or may not. Whatever happens, after we've seen some slow action in the closing months of 2016, the stage is set for what should be a very active next few months here.Tags: trustypepper Mr. Thonk Eyes Ed The Pacifist! @markg94 H. maine ♛ The Manticore ☯ surfy Unhinged Clauss DJDaveMick69 Clauss nick64 .indulgecountry Mikel Echarri yuh yuh MTSChart21 trebor Leaf born Juan Carlos ry4n CandleLit @mirza Leo ✔ Daryl the Beryl Kanenrá:ke

YAS at the ZAYN/Taylor debut I thought your tracking period is Jan. 1-Dec. 31, guess I should pay more attention next time :( Can't wait for the Year - End (I have some predictions for your Top 5)

I used to have a Dec-Nov tracking period for my chart, but after learning half of the forum members here run from Jan-Dec, I decided last year to adjust it closer to the calendar year, That way, I can still present the YE Charts before the year is out. My tracking period as of now for each year runs from the second to last week in December in the previous year to the third to last week in December for this year.

Intro: Hello and welcome back to the chart. We'll just get right into it this week: Martin and Bebe are still #1, serious shifting took place in the Top 10 this week, and Pentatonix makes history as the first a capella group in the chart's history to reach the Top 10. Enjoy the chart. Recently, I've been having problems with my laptop, which explains why I haven't been constantly posting in my YE chart. I'm trying to fix the drivers as best I can to keep the countdown going for you all as soon as possible. Worst case scenario: this countdown gets into full swing after Christmas. Whatever happens, I will do my best to get everything presented to you all before the year is out. Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
