Thanks to oldbloke @ UKMix, here's his estimate of where the decade-end Billboard 200 was until the chart dated March 9, 2019. Keep in mind that the Billboard 200 changed from a pure sales chart on December 6, 2014 to a SPS one, so that the decade will end up with roughly the same numbers of weeks under those rules. I'm not sure if Billboard would use some sort of inverse point system to account for the change in methodology instead of the actual sales and SPS during their corresponding periods.

^ Adele is a FORCE. Her last two albums are the biggest albums on this list and her album that came out before the start of the decade is at #79. Taylor Swift is another GIANT. She has 3 albums in the top 10, 4 in the top 40 and 5 in the top 60 of this list. Drake has 5 albums in the top 30, 6 albums in the top 50 and 8 albums overall on this list. Ed Sheeran has 2 albums in the top 20 and 3 albums in the top 100 on this list. Bruno Mars has 3 albums in the top 50 of this list. Rihanna has 3 albums on this list. Justin Bieber has 4 albums on this list.
I'm just glad we got to have ACTUAL music ICONS in this generation. They feel like the last of a DEAD breed. I don't know that there'll be that many new artists who dominate and see as much success as the artists I listed above saw.

^Probably the most emblematic album that bridged the pure sales and SPS eras was 1989. If I remember correctly, the change in the Billboard 200 occurred during its fifth week of charting. It is also good to see other albums that were released just prior to the change managed to thrive as well.

When looking at this list compared to the list in the link below, Beyonce is ranked at 97 below Anti. But here it is ranked above it, so my question is; Would this list below an accurate representation of how some albums would place on the decade end charts? www.billboard.com/charts/greatest-billboard-200-albums-by-women

I feel like the cutoff's going to be above the 2000's which really scares me. I mean yeah, I couldn't care less if Good Feeling missed the decade end but I swear if y'all let Starboy, SFTTR and Teenage Dream miss the decade end I will never forgive this country.

How come In My Feelings finished higher on the 2018 Year end list than Nice For What but according to this list Nice For What has more points than In My Feelings?

Upon further review, the decade-end Billboard 200 should use the same methodology as the one used by the Greatest of All-Time Billboard 200:
"How This Chart Works Sales Data + Streaming Data = GREATEST OF ALL TIME BILLBOARD 200 ALBUMS
These all-time rankings are based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 (from its launch on Aug. 4, 1958 through Oct. 10, 2015) and Billboard 200 (from Aug. 17, 1963 — when we combined our two leading pop album album charts for stereo and mono releases into one all-encompassing weekly chart — through Oct. 10, 2015). Titles are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at lower rungs earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods. Artists are ranked based on the combined point totals, as outlined above, of all their Hot 100 or Billboard 200 chart entries."

How come In My Feelings finished higher on the 2018 Year end list than Nice For What but according to this list Nice For What has more points than In My Feelings? The year end lists are compiled based on streaming, sales, and radio data throughout the first week of December until the last week of November for a given year. The decade end and all time lists use a different formula where each position gets the same amount of points each week. Right now, any song at #1 will get 52,000 points for that week, regardless of it's real points. This formula gives a good amount of points to positions 1-10, but 11-100 don't get as much points. In My Feelings didn't spend as much time in the top 10 as Nice For What did.

Decade-End chart for March 23, 2019. Without Me and Happier enter the top 100, kicking out DJ Got Us Falling In Love and In My Feelings. thank u, next will be on soon lmao, but I'm gonna stop saying when it will. Sicko Mode is less than 100k points away from making the all-time list which is honestly insane. Also, moves for Better Now and GLY is creeping closer and closer to RITD.

Just out of curiosity. Shouldn't a song have its recurrent weeks counted towards "all time lists"?

Just out of curiosity. Shouldn't a song have its recurrent weeks counted towards "all time lists"? Personally, I'd agree but that's not the way Billboard counts it. I'd similarly argue that going back to the days when tracks couldn't chart unless they were singles, radio play for songs that later charted should be included in the all-time list. Songs like Thriller and My Heart Will Go On would be significantly higher since they were radio hits for months before getting single releases and popping onto the Hot 100 like a ripe zit.

Girls Like You is #36 on the All-Time list. I haven't seen the numbers yet, but that makes sense. There was a 10,000 point difference at the start of the month between #38 and #37, but only an 8,000 point gap between #37 and #33 so GLY could easily jump again next week.

Added thank u, next because I'm fu cking sick of waiting for it to make the top 100. tanooki I know this sounds jackshit crazy but would you mind if I expanded the playlist to 250 songs? It won't be an easy task if you don't continue to post 101-250 every week but I'll try to make it accurate.

I'm gonna post the full 100 and all of the songs in the top 250 that are currently charting, so if that's what you want to do then go ahead. I think you could still have the whole playlist and edit it every week like that
