Wow, drake went from 5 to 1 in 6 months. His power is unmatched How much further do you think he can extend his lead till December 2019? Assuming he doesnt release any more music and just keeps riding off of Scorpion? tbh i see him at 9 million maybe 8.9-9.3 mil

It's crazy how a Diamond certified song "Cruise", 7.5 million digital downloads, is not going to make the top 100 of the decade chart.
If Billboard somehow could do a raw points equivalence conversion between years, that'd be nice.

If perfect remains for 52 or more weeks will it go top 10 on decade end?

^It will all depend on the weekly positions it gets during the 9 weeks it would have remaining to get to 52 weeks, at which point it would probably go recurrent. Notice that the gap between the current #11 an #10 is relatively large for such a long charting song. I'm going to predict it won't reach #10. Anyway, it feels like God's Plan will probably surpass it at some point.

It was kind of a really big deal, sort of the biggest deal of the streaming era so far ( at least until IMF surpasses it), why do you think it doesnt deserve it?

It's just doesn't feel like "THE BIGGEST RAP HIT OF THE DECADE", rockstar or HUMBLE deserves this imo..and tbh One Dance and Hotline Bling are more iconic than God's Plan. (I know, I used "iconic" in the sentence)

So do you mean it didnt have a bigger social media reach/impact than those other songs or airplay?

And those other reasons explain a lot too. Maybe we all just need to wait till the various best of/year end lists of 2018 to really see its impact and what not

For those who care, Saturday will be the 60th Anniversary of the Hot 100. So look forward to the corresponding chart and related ones (Hot 100 Artist and perhaps a chart refresh of both charts for Women) being published sometime after the Hot 100 gets refreshed this week. The positions of the new songs added since the Greatest of All-Time in the Hot 100 60th Anniversary chart should confirm the predictions to the decade-end positions to date. In theory, God's Plan would be added assuming that this week's Hot 100 is taken into account for it.

The fact that he broke Billboard's formula is crazy This is definitely my favourite Billboard thread on Pulse!

Omg, I'm shook. Uptown funk above Party Rock Anthem. Justice has been served.

And from what we've seen in the recently released all time charts, there would be another readjustment.

Ok I think I figured it out.
January 2014 - November 26, 2016: x0.85 December 3, 2016 - present: x0.80
And they tend to start re-weighing during a notable week. For the 2012 re-weighing, it was the week on-demand streaming was added to Hot 100. For 1991, it was the week Nielsen was added.
December 3, 2016 was the start of the 2017 Billboard tracking year.
This period made correct point totals/placements for Closer, Cheap Thrills, and Don't Let Me Down which were hits split between pre-December 2016 and post-December 2016.

They should've used (imo): January 2014 - February 4, 2017: x0.85 February 11, 2017 - present: x0.80 That was the week they added Pandora to the Hot 100 and made the turnover rate a lot slower. SOY, for example, is #10 on the 2018 Nielsen mid-year report for programmed streams.

pierre the Anti era + features(Work - TIWYCF) gave her about 1.7 million. Im expecting this Scorpion era(God's Plan - Dont Matter to Me, probably the last single ) + whichever features he has still charting to put Drake at about 11mil - 12mil. So she would need approx. two Anti eras to reach him Then maybe Drake decides to be petty and releases a new album next year just for fun

And there's valid reason to believe he would: just look at his output rate the last 4 years.

Of course she can. I highly doubt she would need "two ANTI eras" to surpass him either. Drake is currently at 8.52M points (and growing of course) whereas Rihanna is static at 8.17M points. Overall, it merely depends on how successful her singles are, chart wise, and how much longevity they have.

knowing how drake is there is a chance it can happen even if i hope it doesn't like just look at his recent years ever since 2015 he is has released one album a year those being what a time to be alive, views, more life and scorpion and he could possibly do what he did for views and use the songs that didn't cut and make an album off it even tho his music is not that good

Very good chance that he releases an album next year. He’s been releasing every year for a little while now, although some say he only did that to get off of cash money.
He didn’t have a “I’ll be back in 2018 to give you the summary” line on March 14, so who knows
