I don't think this has been reported here, but supposedly she sang a song backstage at ArtRAVE last year called "Sire" inspired by Michael Jackson. I just noticed these clips on Youtube from a few days ago. Anyone think this is real? It has some potential I think.

The beat is cool but it's the same lyrics over and over again. I don't think it's real.

I hope they create something fresh together. I don't want a "Bad Romance" part 3

I hope they create something fresh together. I don't want a "Bad Romance" part 3 For Judas supposedly being "BR part2 " it is very distinct and memorable in its own right and nearly impossible to confuse with BR. The same goes for PF and BR, even though BR was branded PF part 2 at release. That's why I do want another type of track like that from them. That type of song from them is always a fierce slice of pop perfection that stands on its own and builds a legacy.

I always felt the comparison between 'Bad Romance' and 'Poker Face' was incredibly forced. It wasn't a bad marketing tactic since the latter was a truly massive hit, but they're about as similar as 'If U Seek Amy' and 'Baby One More Time' (which also saw comparisons for no other reason than 'Amy' was the first time Britney had worked with Max Martin in almost 8 years). 'Judas' was an even further reach.
The only things the songs really had in common were that they were loud, their respective bridges were spoken word, and they were built around catchy "nonsense" hooks. By that logic, 'Scheiße' was 'Poker Face 4.0'.

'Judas' was an even further reach. The only things the songs really had in common were that they were loud, their respective bridges were spoken word, and they were built around catchy "nonsense" hooks. By that logic, 'Scheiße' was 'Poker Face 4.0'. I agree on "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance". They were both "weird/quirky" dance-pop songs by the same person but I thought the comparisons ended there. "Judas" however, I thought was a straight-up rip-off of "Bad Romance". Opens with an "oo-oo-oo-oh (caught in a bad romance/I'm in love with Judas)" sing-along, followed up a jarring broken-syllable intro. The huge choruses are directly followed by the "oo-oo-oo-oh" sing-alongs. The bridges begin with FIERCE spoken-word before sliding into a slower, more dramatic wind-up before the last chorus. Both close out with a final refrain of the 'jarring broken-syllable intro'. It bothered me because her success during The Fame/ The Fame Monster came due to such a fresh (not necessarily "ORIGINAL") take on modern pop and dance music. No one on the radio sounded like her (except for anyone chasing her sound) and I stand by the fact that she completely revitalized top 40/pop music in 09-11. But "Judas" sounded like a lazy retread even if the end-product was a great song. It may be splitting hairs but in my opinion, "Schiebe" was the song I was looking for. It fit in with Gaga's other stuff, especially the RedOne material, but still felt different and fresh and challenging. I'm probably in the minority but I still think that should have been the 2nd single after "Born This Way."

Yass at all this RedOne, not once have they disappointed me. Hoping we'll be getting music sooner than later if she keeps this pace.
Listening to "Scheiße" now!

When I first heard Gaga was working with Redone again, I initially though... same ol', same ol'. On one hand, I'd like her to work with someone new, unknown or established, though not someone like Max Martin or another producer already around the field. But yeah, reading everyone's comments, they have made some pretty epic stuff together and despite the similarities between some of the songs (which really just come down to structure anyway), they'll surely do it again. I know that means she's probably going to stay within the area of electro-pop but I think that's really what I want from her most anyway. Her jazz album is great but not something I want to listen to really. And I'm sure she'd rock a piano-centric pop ballads album or something like that but when I think of Gaga, I think of exploding crazy booming hits.
I see there's a guitar in those pictures too. Maybe there'll be some folktronica?

For those who are comparing POKER FACE, BAD ROMANCE, AND JUDAS, these are my thoughts. 1. Poker Face and Bad romance are two different songs, i cant see near resemblance of the two. Poker face is like a fun bubblegum pop song while bad romance is more of a fiercer/darker/strong pop song due to its lyrics, plus gaga using stronger vocals this time. The only similar thing i can see is the use of the repetitive hooks (papapa poker face) and (rara ah ah ah), which is the signature of redone and gaga in most of their songs such as judas (judas juda ah ah), monster (ma ma ma monster), gypsy (im im im a gypsy gypsy gypsy im), etc. 2. I can consider JUDAS as POKER FACE + BAD ROMANCE combined, but more of a bad romance resemblance. see this for an example: a. Intro: Oh oh oh im in love with judas / oh oh oh, caught in a bad romance ( Judas - Bad Romance) b. Chant: Judas juda ah ah / Ra ra ah ah ah ( Judas - Bad Romance) c. Verses: When he calls to me I am ready / I wanna hold em like they do in texas place ( Judas / Poker Face - try singing their verses, notice the similarity of the monotonous tone? d. Pre- Chorus: Whooah oh oh, Ill bring him down, bring him down down / Oh Oh oh, ooohh oh oh, I'll get him hot, show him what ive got ( Judas - Poker Face)e. Chorus: The chorus is too long but the structure of the lyrics is clearly similar to Judas and Bad Romance (The chorus the chanting part) Bottomline: Poker Face might have resemblance to Bad Romance, but Judas is (for me) considered more to resemble the lyrical structure of Bad Romance. Scheiße meanwhile has also resemblance with Bad Romance, when im listening the chorus part of Scheiße, i can actually sing Bad Romance to both Judas and and Scheiße, vice versa. RedOne has therefore repeating the structure of his songs, but with a different approach. Judas and Scheiße is faster than Poker Face and Bad Romance ( actually all BTW redone songs are faster including Hair.) QUOTING THIS: It bothered me because her success during The Fame/The Fame Monster came due to such a fresh (not necessarily "ORIGINAL") take on modern pop and dance music. No one on the radio sounded like her (except for anyone chasing her sound) and I stand by the fact that she completely revitalized top 40/pop music in 09-11. But "Judas" sounded like a lazy retread even if the end-product was a great song. It may be splitting hairs but in my opinion, " Schiebe" was the song I was looking for. It fit in with Gaga's other stuff, especially the RedOne material, but still felt different and fresh and challenging. I'm probably in the minority but I still think that should have been the 2nd single after "Born This Way." // QUOTE ENDS
- As far as i know, Lady Gaga said that this should be ther order of her singles for born this way:
A. Marry the Night should be the lead single but due to some conflicts with her label, Born this Way was pushed through. B. When Born This Way was pushed through, this was the order of her planned single release: 1. Born this way 2. Marry The Night - another reasons why they havent pushed through it 3. Scheiße - Lady gaga metioned on the littlemonsters website that she really planned this to be released as a single, and even fight for it but Interscope didnt want it to be a single. She even admitted that Scheiße could be a smash hit it was released (made me realize Judas was not her priority after all), so since MTN and Scheiße is not release, Judas was instead pushed through. 4. TEOG Judas couldve been a hit afterall, if the lyrics werent that religious, or with different content.. Lets face it, some people are religious or consider the lyrics they are playing, who would play a song about Judas after all, if they think that her song was really clinging to Judas in the bible, even though Gaga said that it was just a metaphor of something. Scheiße meanwhile is really a potential hit, if it was released. I really love the climactic part of the song (ah ah I I, I I I dont speak german) Lastly, lady gaga posted a new instagram pic with redone on it in the studio, with a caption ⚡️ - and we all know this lightning logo was used during The Fame era, so might be having a clue that she might be going back to the sounds she created during TF or TFM era.

Plus Lady Gaga is i think putting some hype with their fans by posting the RedOne Gaga pic in te studio, which i think was effective, since it made a large wave of news, inckuding forums like this. The fact that many little monsters are really hoping for Gaga to work with RedOne again, he even trended worldwide due to this news. So clearly, fans are really excited on this news, for they know they might be creating magic and hits again, unlike with DJWS who doesnt produce any hit for her that has that huge impact compared to Poker Face or Bad Romance. i wont consider Born This Way as a very very very huge hit ( Bad Romance > BTW). Born this way got its no. 1 peak i think just because of the so much hype Gaga made after The Fame Monster era, where people are so excited with the material Gaga is bringing not just to her fans but to GP.
I hope with the new single that Gaga would release to her new album, it's her song with RedOne. And probably it would be her lead single, putting back the 'RedOne, Gaga!" Intro just like in Just Dance to put the hype back to her new lead single.

Scheibe absolutely should have been the second single from BTW. It is EVERYTHING and empowering and dancey and catchy and unique and just a shame that it wasn't released, even as a promo single like Hair was.

Judas killed. I loved that song. Definitely was not best choice as a second single, specifically because the lyrics were just way too out there. The sound and melody and hooks were there though. I really love that one and Born This Way is my favorite Gaga album, that could have been a huge era.

I think this is a pretty good indication that they are collaborating together for something.
Since Gaga has been in the studio, it could hint that Adele is featured on Gaga's next album. However, we all know she is working on "25" as we speak so Gaga could be featured on "25". Or, they could both be recording tracks for their albums :)

I'd say it'd be more likely for Adele to be on Gaga's album. I can't imagine Adele having any guests on her album. I hope they're recording the first single from both of their albums though.
