I wasn't much of a fan of the ARTPOP material but Applause was good, and Do What U Want is underrated af. Terrific track that deserved much better.

I've scraped better albums off the bottom of my shoe. Not here for another Artpop (aside from select tracks like DWUW and Sexxx Dreams). She was clearly under the influence for that entire era. Keep it sober, Joanne.

I tend to like her songs that were not the huge pop hits. I am not a major fan, but like her casually. The songs by her that I really get into are: Dance in the Dark (her best as far as I am concerned), GUY, Artpop (i love the beginning), Venus, and Marry the Night, Telephone (Crooker's Mix). Otherwise, the stuff that were her biggest hits just got so oversaturated that I cannot bear to hear them anymore.

A friend of mine saw a tasty test screening of A Star Is Born and said that the music is amazing and Gaga's performance is about uneven in the early parts but she is great later in the movie.

Is the score all Gaga? I think she did all of the original songs for the movie, but not the score. He also said it was one of, if not THE, best soundtrack he's ever heard in a movie. And he is one of those people that goes to the movies every weekend. |

I heard Applause at the bar last night and went crazy for it -- I didn't realize how much I LOVE that song -- IMO very underrated from her. I'd love for her to come back with a song that has a hook like Aura and a beat like her other smashes. Slay us with your pop music Gaga!

She won the AMA for Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist, her second I believe (she won it in 2010 as well).

I really liked her performance of The Cure last night from her concert.
Great performance, with great vocals and some really great staging/dancing.
I also loved her genuine appreciation at winning the award.
Gaga is one of those artists who you can tell genuinely loves her fans. Its refreshing to see a legacy act who has already won dozens of awards and achieved an unparalleled amount of success; still get so emotional over a little fan voted AMA award.

Park on the North Side if there's nothing at the stadiums and take the T for free to Steel Plaza. Everything around the arena is such a mess for parking and driving. I'm walking over from my office and calling a Lyft home |
