When was the Charlie Brown soundtrack last certified?
It's also crazy that Bing Crosby is on there!
Mariah's need its 6x platinum cert!

In the same article is last season's top 25 most-played songs. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" narrowly beat "A Holly Jolly Christmas," with 22,000 plays to 21,900.

Wow. I am surprised the Charlie Brown cert was so low. I guess it has been selling a lot better lately than when it was released.
Bing Crosby's collection could easily be the best-selling ever. 4 million by 1977 plus 2 million Soundscan era is 6 million total. That leaves 10-15 years of sales not represented, too.

Elvis Presley's first holiday album is certified for 10 million- plus, those songs then were issues on other Presley holiday albums. So, collectively, it could be close between the two.

It was certified 4xP in 2004. I'm not sure why the RIAA gives a 1977 release date for WC. Wikipedia says: 1955 Merry Christmas (retooling of 1945 78rpm album of the same name, later renamed White Christmas in 1995) I guess it's 4 million copies between 1955 and 2004??
