There's 4 weeks until the album for Interscope to push this. They might move on to single #2 at this point.

Madonna is #52 on Itunes-USA
The Grammys is under way on the West Coast-America!
Her performance is coming up around now!
In about a half hour or so the track should rise even higher!

I didn't expect it to rocket to top10 or anything, but it's doing nicely enough given that there's really no airplay. The three pre-order tracks have it pushed down a little when it need not be. :)

My bud in NYC:
Z-100, the #1 radio station in America is currently playing #βLivingForLove!!! Elvis Duran is defending himself on air because he says that the Madonna fans keep attacking him for never playing her on the radio. So he's playing her new song to show that Z-100 supports her and hopes that people CONTINUE to request it.

At Least the new songs are on top at Itunes...'Joan of Arc' is #1 on Itunes-America right now & others are in the top 10!!!
Strange but great at the same time!...You would think they would try to push 'Living For Love' after last night
performance??..Mybe she knows it is a loose situation so why bother? Maybe she will go out and really promote the Album
as a whole making TV appearances, performing which she rarely does. She has do something other than waiting for the Tour
to begin.

^Yes, but keep in mind that it's the strong pre-orders that sent those tracks instantly to those positions, so they're not sales for the tracks. But, it's good for the album. :)
Not sure what Interscope can do to push LFL, as it's not a premiere track, so a radio promo at this point was unlikely. Number of adds don't mean much in terms of how much airplay a track will get, but we'll see how many station adds, if any, it scores tomorrow.

I just can't grasp why radio wouldn't play this. It sounds current, fresh and exciting. I don't care how "old" she is, this song fits what's been playing on radio and is better than most others.

Nobody is being hysterical!! All of us want adds but we have to be realistic!! If she was going to get adds..they would
be playing the the song Today..Period!!!
If the small/medium influential stations aren't spinning it is in effect dead!!

^You still don't understand how radio works.
"There won't be any adds" is not hysterical???
LFL is not going to get one add tomorrow???
C'mon.

Like you I know very well how Radio works!! Radio can do what it wants when it wants!!! A station doesn't have to wait unti Add day to to start spinning a song.
Like you I remember 'Girl Gone Wild' which should have been a smash! Got a few Adds but it stalled because others didn't jump on board! You seem to be fixating on my sentence ...wont get any adds..point taken. She may get a few and might get
to number 39 on Mediabase. Which in reality is all we can reasonably expect!!

Its iTunes performance is poor. Personally, I thought Madonna had a rather memorable performance and would have expected a rise to the top 20 with ease (maybe top 10) even if it only lasted a day or two. But, I'm not quick to shout "flop!" simply because it's stuck at the low end of the thirties. What makes its performance stand out is how it's doing relative to other songs with similar (less memorable imo) promo spots. Katy's Perry's album track and the Maroon 5/Gwen Stefani duet both came out nowhere to surpass this with ease. That's pretty telling of the public's lack of interest, unfortunately.

This won't sell without radio. It's the kind of thing, the 800th single from someone that been around since the Pleistocene, that people literally need marketed to them. They essentially need to be "told" to buy it by the media.

Actually, the showing is pretty decent for a track that has virtually no radio support. It was well received, but did anyone actually think it would zoom to the top 10 on iTunes or something?

Actually, the showing is pretty decent for a track that has virtually no radio support. Did "My Heart Is Open" have any radio support prior to the Grammy's? What's that, even less you say? Oh okay, because it's doing significantly better on iTunes despite a much more understated performance.

I've heard it a million times already on Sirius XM.
But lets not forget, "Gimmie All Your Luv" died at terrestrial radio after the first two weeks of bought spins. She's just not guaranteed that instant appeal anymore.
That being said, it's a fun record and the best part about it is its Madonna being Madonna instead of chasing everything else. Reclaiming her identity as it were.

allow- what in the world does a performance of a 17-year-old track from a then-woman in her 30s, that took off at radio when a blockbuster movie was from was released, well before the Grammys, have to do with a topic about a single by a 56-year-old woman in 2015? I'm very confused. What are you even talking about? You DO sound confused!
