I really enjoy the version WITHOUT Kanye West that most Hot AC stations play.

Y'all are cray cray. Kanye's addition to the song was pure fire.

Y'all are cray cray. Kanye's addition to the song was pure fire. I enjoy listening to his version every now and then, but I prefer the solo version.

This, like most of Teenage Dream, hasn't aged very well. It's easily the best single off of the album though. I think I prefer the Kanye remix, but only by a small margin.

Kanye ruined the song a bit for me but it's still a good song.

I loved this from the first listen and still do. I first heard this in early Summer 2010 when it leaked as a demo around June or so.
Between the album and Kayne version, I prefer the Yeezy upgrade, but the video version really mixes the original bridge in in a very good way.

I really love both versions. This was one of those jams that when I heard the album for the first time, I knew it was something special. One of her best.

As mentioned above, the music video really brought the best version of this song by retaining the original bridge (which is the best part of the song)in addition to Kanye's portion which wasn't a complete cut and paste like the deluge of rent-a-rappers that were soon to contaminate pop radio.
One of her very best.

The Kanye remix goes hard. I love the video mix with the bridge. The beat was supposed to go to rap group Three 6 Mafia before it was passed on to Katy.

I can't believe it's been enough years for this to be in the Nostalgia section...

I loved the original "E.T." leak and was bumping it from the beginning. But I loved the remix that added a harder beat.

I liked this, but I like Dark Horse way better, most people are the opposite though.

Loved this song when it was first released. I love the original version for it's awesome bridge but the Kanye remix definitely make this more of a jam. Sadly, this song is not aging that well for me.

This is one of my favorite songs, partially for nostalgia. I heard this back in school when it was popular (on the radio, I think?), and younger me was fascinated by it because space was not a common theme in popular songs. Plus, the production and intensity in the chorus made me really into it. Thus, I still like it a lot today.

Haha, not anymore! I haven't listened to it in a while, in fact, but it's a cool song definitely. One of her best.
