Not only is this my favorite AK song, but I consider it one of my favorite songs EVER. Outstanding ballad.

Love it.
"Karma" is still one of my all-time favorites.

This is probably my favorite song by her. It's near perfect. I love the lyrics.

This song is perfection. Vocals, melody, lyrics, production are just divine. It should have been a bigger hit, which it would have if it was released as the lead.

One of her best songs, period. She elevated her sound with this one. When I saw she was working with Bhasker on GOF I got really excited, but they failed to capture the magic of this one.

"Un-thinkable" is even better, but yeah this is one of her best singles.

This is right up there with "No One" as my favourite Alicia Keys singles.

One of her best. The 1-2 punch of this and "Un-thinkable" was amazing.

One of her best songs EVER and I'd only rank "Love Is Blind" and "Wait Til You See My Smile" higher. GOF is my fav album by her.

"Un-thinkable" is even better, but yeah this is one of her best singles. Ugh, the vibe of them make it so hard for me say which is better, but they definitely top two contenders as my favorites.

She would have achieved more with this album if they had not thrown the subpar "No One" redux as the first single. Ugh.

She would have achieved more with this album if they had not thrown the subpar "No One" redux as the first single. Ugh. That's the label's fault because they wanted her to recreate the "No One" moment. It was obvious Alicia wasn't backing "Doesn't Mean Anything" because she was speaking about "...Broken Heart" once "...Anything" dropped. They didn't have any faith in the song because they felt it sounds too different from Alicia.

Excellent song. Among her best. I prefer "Un-Thinkable," but that's my favorite Alicia song.

I still love this. This was different from any of her previous singles. I was disappointed in the Atlanta urban stations for not adding it.

Love the Prince vibe. She knocked it out of the park with this one. As others have mentioned, it should have been the lead single for this project.

So underrated. Best song on that album. I just heard it for the first time in ages and it still holds up well.

Absolutely one of my faves from the album. It's very relatable and and it really is totally underrated. The Element of Freedom is my fave album by her, in general.

This is one of my favorites by her. The opening is so epic. The whole song had a certain feel to it I can’t describe. Maybe epic and slightly haunting at the same time. I know it did well, but it should have smashed harder.
