That is a seriously puzzling update on Pop. I know it hasn't been getting +200s but to go from decent gains to a loss? I am going to have to assume that is just a one off thing FOR NOW. A song wouldn't suddenly begin losing spins like that, as if all the stations banded together and agreed to stop playing it at the same time. It would trickle down. I am going to look at the other songs on the chart to see if other songs had weird updates.

The video is pretty basic, but I still love the song. I'd definitely rank it ahead of 'Mr. Know It All' and 'Never Again' in terms of her lead singles. 'Catch My Breath' remains her best.

As for the video... love that she shows some gay action. But it's ridiculously amateur. I expected better, at least for the first video.

hopefully it doesnt run out of gas before top 20. i still have faith on this single will explode if it hits top 10. hopefully US promo is coming soon.
but if it doesnt happen, we will enjoy the new album. commercial success is just a bonus at this point with kelly being a new mom and a new fam and her current image and age. i never thought the girl i voted for on idol lasted this long. 13 years later!!! i luv u kelly

Slowing down a bit and looking pretty bleak on pop, but the overall audience gains have still been decent. Even with the Grammys effect + 4 preorder tracks ahead of it, "Heartbeat Song" is holding on at #22 on iTunes. If it keeps up on iTunes + promo in the upcoming weeks, this will hopefully start revving up at radio again.
edit: also up to #80 on iTunes.

One other positive is that it has reached the Top 10 on one format at least, Canadian Hot AC, where it moves to #8 with the 3rd biggest bullet on the format.
