Ashley Monroe continues to hang on at the top for a second week with the scintillating "The Blade," while the Top 5 remains unchanged aside from Little Big Town sneaking ahead of the Erica Nicole and Jamie O'Neal duet. Chris Young's latest has a healthy move after entering the Top 10 last week, and Adele scores her second Top 10 hit as "When We Were Young" rises 12-10. Tim McGraw adds another Top 20 to his belt this week, while a trio of country songs consisting of Rascal Flatts, Kelsea Ballerini, and William Michael Morgan crack the Top 30. Jana Kramer and Brandy Clark have good weeks as they each move into the Top 40 with their latest singles, giving Kramer her third and Clark her first to reach the threshold. After a lack of debuts last week, this week welcomes three new songs to the chart with Carrie Underwood's "Church Bells" leading the way, with Jennifer Lopez and One Direction rounding out the final two slots. YES! It's about time we hear from the Real Fine Top 60 again! Scintillating is an excellent word to describe "The Blade" :) Keep up the good work!

Zayn shoots from 5-1 this week to claim his first solo chart-topper with "Pillowtalk" (as part of 1D he previously shared in the #1 success of "Night Changes" last year). Maddie & Tae make a nice move to the runner-up position, while Ashley Monroe, Little Big Town, and Erica Nicole all experience falls. Chris Young f/ Cassadee Pope and Adele both have good weeks, each moving up three spots in the Top 10. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber continues his Purpose success by notching his fourth Top 20 hit with "Love Yourself." Joe Nichols finally cracks the Top 30, and Meghan Trainor and Iggy Azalea vault into the Top 40. Carrie Underwood's "Church Bells" has a healthy 7-point jump into the Top 50 in its second week on the charts, already off to a strong start following a record-breaking #1 hit in "Heartbeat" (which spends another week in the Top 20 on its way down). Three debuts this week come from Mike Posner, Florida Georgia Line, and Nick Jonas. Chart Dated May 8, 2016: Week 19LW TW WK PK Song Artist05 01 13 01 "Pillowtalk" - Zayn *1 WEEK AT NUMBER ONE*

Haven't been here for an eternity... I suck, I know.... ;) And how lovely to find Zayn at #1... lol :) ;) (Azalea Banks won't approve, though) Very cool that Ashley Monroe managed to grab the top spot for 2 weeks! Yay! Some titles approaching the top that I'm not too fond of... and "Mind Reader" has already peaked? #NO lol ;) (really dig that song; great steel) Poor Eric Church creeping in the 40s and Cam not doing better, either. (Mayday is growing on me a lot) Is it the first time you chart FGL? This may even go Top 20 in my chart! Well-balanced mix, as always! :)

Well-balanced mix, as always! :) Haha, well it's a good thing I don't care what Azealia Banks thinks. ;) #spoileralert but "Mind Reader" hasn't peaked yet. It and a few others like "My Church" have just been not moving much/getting knocked back because of some bigger hits like "Heartbeat" and faster movers like Adele and Chris Young. It'll recover. It is FGL's first time charting! "Dirt" came out too soon for my chart or it may have charted, and "Confession" was a possibility, but it wouldn't have made it out of the 50s if it did anyway. "H.O.L.Y." will do well though; love it. Thanks for the commentary. <3 Thanks everyone else too for the comments every week. I've been a little behind so I haven't responded to most of them lately, but I still love the feedback. <3

Maddie & Tae manage to catch a third consecutive #1 hit this week as "Shut Up and Fish" dethrones Zayn's "Pillowtalk." It follows the single-week chart-toppers "Girl in a Country Song" and "Fly" from 2015. Adele vaults into the Top 5 for the second time, following "Hello," which she took to #1 early this year. Dustin Lynch achieves a new peak of #6 this week, and Maren moves back up to former peak of #8, while K. Michelle grabs her first Top 10 hit since "Love 'Em All" last year. Ashley Gearing finally crawls into the Top 20, both Craig Morgan and Tinashe do the same into the Top 30, and Eric Church slides into the Top 40. Maggie Rose's "Broken" marks the week's sole new entry, coming it at #60 to replace Danielle Bradbery. Maddie & Tae hang onto the top spot for another week to claim their first multi-week #1 hit. The rest of the Top 5 is rounded out by Adele and three country males. Fifth Harmony scores their third Top 10 hit this week with "Work from Home" advancing 13-10 (it follows last year's "Sledgehammer" and "Worth It", which both made the Top 3). Lindsay Ell and Jewel make the Top 20 for the first time, while Meghan Trainor scoots into the Top 30, also for the first time. Demi Lovato and Carrie Underwood have great weeks as they both jump into the Top 40 with the third singles from their latest albums. Florida Georgia Line's "H.O.L.Y." has Greatest Gainer honors as it manages a 10-position jump into the Top 50 in its third week on. New entries this week come from Blake Shelton's latest smash hit and "Let It Go" by James Bay. So pretty awesome that James Bay is making your chart! :) PS: Blake Shelton: You may want to correct the LW & WK columns. Just saying! ;)

That "Pillowtalk" music video is one of the weirdest videos I have ever seen! Haha the pop world breeds a whole new class of video that greatly shocks my naive country boy mind ;)
LOVE seeing Maddie & Tae at #1 for 2 weeks! And almost 30 weeks on the chart... This is the kind of treatment that "Shut Up And Fish" deserved :) I'm looking forward to seeing Chris and Cassadee at the top next week ;)

Adele nets her second #1 hit on my chart (following "Hello") as she leaps over Chris Young/Cassadee Pope with "When We Were Young." After 35 weeks on, David Nail finally moves into the Top 10. Despite a slow chart climb, "Night's on Fire" continues to be a favorite, especially as his album release for Fighter draws nearer. Rascal Flatts breaks into the Top 20 with "I Like the Sound of That" while Martina McBride and Iggy Azalea move into the Top 30. "Church Bells" takes an 8-position leap to earn Greatest Gainer honors as Carrie Underwood's momentum officially swings over from "Heartbeat." A lack of recurrents this week leaves the chart with no new entries and the songs below the Top 40 are mostly stagnant aside from swapping a few places here and there. Expect movement to pick up again next week. Chart Dated May 29, 2016: Week 22LW TW WK PK Song Artist03 01 15 01 "When We Were Young" - Adele *1 WEEK AT NUMBER ONE*

Chris Young and Cassadee Pope rise to the top this week, marking the second #1 hit for the lead artist and first for the featured artist. Nothing new enters the Top 10, but falling songs from Adele and Maddie & Tae make for a shake-up in positions nonetheless. Shakira scoots into the Top 20 with her soundtrack single, marking her second hit to reach the threshold (after last year's Top 15 hit "You Don't Care About Me"), while Carrie Underwood rockets into the Top 30 with "Church Bells." Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, and Florida Georgia Line all crack the Top 40 this week. With a trio of songs leaving, Easton Corbin finally makes the chart with his latest single. Also new this week is Josh Turner's comeback release and the third single from Adele's 25 project, which has already boasted two #1 hits (including last week's chart-topper in "When We Were Young"). The summit is really clogged. I figure it will be hard for you to decide who's going to get the top spot in the next upcoming weeks. (Have a similar problem) The current #1 was inevitable, I guess ;) ; really like the new Chris Young single with Vince Gill, though. Easton Corbin's is such a good song (the single that never was is now officially a hit)! Love it! Josh Turner: Good he's getting some traction again. Not particularly fond of the production. Adele: Am I allowed to say that I like David Nail's cover more than the original... ! Good job, again! :)

"Think of You" scores another week at the top, while the Top 5 remains relatively unchanged aside from Fifth Harmony sneaking ahead of K. Michelle. Justin Bieber scores his fourth Top 10 hit this week with "Love Yourself," while Sunny Sweeney attains her third. Joe Nichols gets his first Top 20 hit with "Freaks Like Me," while Kelsea Ballerini moves into the Top 20 with "Peter Pan" in half the time. Demi Lovato has a nice 4-spot jump to enter the Top 30, while an 8-point jump gets Jennifer Lopez back into the Top 40 for the first time since last year's "Booty." New to the chart this week are Brett Young's stellar debut single and Rihanna's "Kiss It Better," which cracks the chart while "Work" takes a tumble. Fantastic chart! Happy to see Peter Pan in the top 20 :) Really like that song and Kelsea's best song to date imo (although LMLYMI and Dibs were both excellent songs) Also go My Church! Hope it reaches #1 :)

Dang, I've been quiet for a few weeks! Sorry! I'm happy to see Chris and Cassadee having success right now. And Maren is TOTALLY deserving to hit the top as well. Her new album is FIRE!!!! I am a little surprised to see Lauren Alaina still charting... "Next Boyfriend" feels so old to me. Lol I just realized it is still on your chart. I am excited to see Tim nearing the top 10, and Kelsea entering the top 20, and Martina keeping it real in the top 25. (She might need to have a little boost up to #1 so you have time to chart "Just Around The Corner" before she releases a 3rd single ;) Lol!) Also proud to see Easton Corbin and Josh Turner off to a decent start. I'm hopeful to see Maddie & Tae make a return to your chart soon (with new music. I basically consider a song done after it peaks, and then ignore it while it is descending)!
