After three weeks at No. 1, RaeLynn yields the top spot to Randy Houser's "Like a Cowboy." My love for this track has gone down for this lately due to how much I've heard it on the radio since last summer, but it's an incredible song, especially coming from an artist who really left next to no impression on me with any of his prior singles. It's been one of my favorites at radio in 2014. Two spots open up in the Top 10 this week, which are taken by "Only" and "Take It on Back," while "Bad Girl Phase" is the lone entry to the Top 20. Carrie Underwood, Brantley Gilbert, Mickey Guyton, and Dolly Parton all break into the Top 40. Underwood now has two songs concurrently in the Top 40 with "Something in the Water" at No. 15 this week. Greatest Gainer is a tie this week between Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban, who each took 9-point jumps with their current singles, "Little Red Wagon" (36-27) and "Raise 'Em Up" (54-45), respectively. Ne-Yo's "She Knows" has the highest debut at No. 54, and is followed by new entries by Sam Hunt, Kelly Clarkson, and Tim McGraw. It is the first chart appearances by Ne-Yo and Kelly Clarkson.

I knew you'd approve of the No. 1. ;) As for the Kelly song, I don't know your taste well enough to know if you'd like it or not, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot? I think it's a catchy tune, and it's pretty much your typical Kelly Clarkson uptempo. Surprised you didn't like "Shotgun Rider" because that was one of my favorite singles of last year, easily, but I do love his new offering as well!

As you'll see with this week, I had my reasons for not letting him go. ;) (Seriously though, "Bailando" not reaching #1 on my chart would've been a criminal injustice considering how much I love it. I also didn't get the Sex and Love album until Christmas so even though I listened to it a lot on Spotify/radio/etc., it's still my jam.

For sure! I am loving Tim McGraw so much lately. "Diamond Rings" would've debuted sooner but I was still pretty hooked on "Shotgun Rider" (still am, too -- one of my favorite singles of 2014 and from Tim McGraw period).

Enrique Iglesias' mega-smash, "Bailando," finally makes its way to No. 1 on my chart, becoming the first non-country song to reach the top. It also leads a Top 5 that becomes the first chart to date void of any country songs (former country icon Taylor Swift holds the #2 spot, but with a pop release). No new entries to the Top 10 this week, though at least two spots will be vacated next week by former No. 1's "Like a Cowboy" and "God Made Girls." Madonna continues her hot start with "Living for Love" climbing another five spots to break the Top 20 on the week of her album release (which I bought on Tuesday and find to be excellent, for the record). Other notable climbs for the week include 7-point jumps for Dierks Bentley and Mickey Guyton and 5-point jumps for Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood within the Top 40, while Lee Ann Womack cracks the threshold for the second time with new single "Send It on Down" moving 41-40. Taylor Swift claims her first No. 1 on my chart as "Blank Space" moves 2-1 into the pole position, dethroning King of Latin Pop, Enrique Iglesias. With several songs clearing out of the Top 10 this week, three new entries are welcomed in for the first time: "Lonely Eyes," "Lay Low," and "Closer to Nowhere." Together they are the most recent single releases from three of my favorite country artists. Jessie J comes close to scoring her second Top 10 hit with "Burnin' Up" heating up to the #11 position. Meanwhile, "Going Out Like That" and "Homegrown Honey" enter the Top 20, with several other songs in the 20s also posting solid gains. The final four slots in the Top 40 are occupied by new tunes with "Raise 'Em Up" leading the way. The Keith Urban/Eric Church collabo is followed by Shakira's "You Don't Care About Me," Ciara's "I Bet," and Paulina Rubio's "Mi Nuevo Vicio," the latter of which had the biggest move of the week posting an 11-point jump into the Top 40 in only her fourth chart week. It was a big week for debuts as several songs left the charts, leaving five spots up for grabs. Better late than never, Hozier has the highest entry with "Take Me to Church" at no. 55. Ashley Monroe, Kid Rock, Jo Dee Messina, and Conchita Wurst round out the last four debuts. All of these I'd wanted to chart for several weeks and they finally got the chance.

Due to recent events with One Direction losing its best member, "Night Changes" surges to No. 1 to unseat "Blank Space" after one week. It is my favorite 1D single to date and should spend several weeks at No. 1, though competition for the top spot remains fierce with several other Top 10 hits looking to reach the penthouse as well. Jessie J's "Burnin' Up" is the sole new entry to the Top 10, likewise with Prince Royce entering the Top 20. "Raise 'Em Up" has the Greatest Gainer honors of the week posting a 7-point to #30. Ellie Goulding brings "Love Me Like You Do" into the Top 40 in her fifth chart week, while Gloriana's "Trouble" also breaks into the threshold after 12 weeks. The lower region of the chart features little movement this week due to only one song leaving the chart, which allows for only Ariana Grande as the sole debut this week with "One Last Time."

Great to see "Send It On Down" and "Raise 'Em Up" take big leaps to #29 and #30. It appears Keith and Eric's song had the biggest gain this week too.

Just 7 more positions to climb for "Lay Low" to reach #1. :)

I love "Blank Space," so I had to get it to #1 on my chart, even though it was past due (though not as overdue as "Bailando"). Expect those other tracks to all keep doing well! Thanks, trebor!

Yes! "Lay Low" is doing quite well. The Top 10 is really crowded at the moment, but Josh Turner's tune hasn't fatigued on me at all (partly because radio hasn't gotten on board with it nearly fast enough ), so it'll be around a while. :)

One Direction doesn't change at No. 1 this week with "Night Changes," while the Top 5 welcomes Chris Young as Fifth Harmony drops to #7. Madonna breaks into the Top 10 in just her 9th week on the chart with "Living for Love." Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and Carrie Underwood all jump into the Top 20 with their latest singles, while Paulina Rubio continues her fast pace, moving up another 5 spots to #30 with "Mi Nuevo Vicio." "Fly," "7/11," and "She Knows" all make their entrance to the Top 40 this week as well. Taylor Swift posts the biggest gain of the week with an 8-point jump to #44 with "Style," now that "Blank Space" is free-falling. Four new debuts this week are led by Little Big Town's "Girl Crush," which took awhile to grow on me despite my love of the band. The push-back to the controversy over the song though has helped me in rooting for it and liking it more. The other three new entries come from Jana Kramer and Kacey Musgraves with their excellent new tunes, while Nick Jonas takes the final spot on the chart with "Chains."
