Now that it's almost the end of the year, it's time to start thinking about our resolutions for 2015.
My country music resolution for 2015: I will try to not judge songs before I hear them. I often negatively judge songs by certain artists instead of giving them a fair chance, so I'm going to work on changing that. What's yours?

- To collect every George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith there is (i collect albums)
- To be a more effective poster
- To go back to Nashville at some point
....and the same thing that zjames said i guess

Never cared much for New Year Resolutions but this is what I came up with after doing some thinking. - To listen to more of my library. My library has grown quite a lot this year and i've listened to very little of it.
- Become more familiar with more of the legends.
- Read more autobiographies about the legends.

To listen to more older country music and become more familiar with the history of it. I just got big into country in early 2010 and I've learned a lot about the genre but I feel like I'm way too biased towards newer songs/artists, and I'd like to change that. So many artists and albums to explore :)

Understand the meaning behind the older songs. Collect all The Beatles albums. Become more familiar with George Strait, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Hank Jr., and Merle Haggard's music.
I believe I have most of The Beatles work but haven't listened to any of it yet. Obviously, I know their big hits but that's it. Another thing to add to my list! thanks Zebra!

-To post on Pulse more.
-To listen to a greater variety of artists and albums.
-To explore areas of country I'm not very familiar with, like country-rock and old-time country.
-To try to keep up with new releases better.

Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Hank, Jr., and Johnny Cash are some of the great country-rock performers. Thanks. I'm actually very familiar with all of those artists, I meant more pure country-rock artists like Gram Parsons. That's an area of country I know virtually nothing about.
