TOP 1. You're the Only One 2. Jolene 3. Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You 4. Rockin' Years 5. Two Doors Down 6. Joshua 7. Here You Come Again 8. But You Know I Love You 9. Do I Ever Cross Your Mind 10. Hard Candy Christmas 11. 9 to 5
NOT BAD, JUST OVERRATED 1. I Will Always Love You (the Vince Gill duet version was a mistake, but even it is infinitely superior to Whitney Houston's screech-fest) 2. Islands in the Stream
GUILTY PLEASURE 1. Romeo
BOTTOM 1. PMS Blues 2. If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body… (good song in its original form, but I hated how her voice sounded on it) 3. Coat of Many Colors

Dolly is absolutely incredible and has SO many good songs and it's really hard to rank them. Also, due to my age, I got into Dolly w/ the Backwoods Barbie era so my favorites (for the most part) kind of skew towards her newer material. Plus, I think the natural deepening of her voice has only made her better; imo, the Dolly that sings "Better Get to Livin'" sounds better than she did during her heyday but maybe that's just me. TOP 1. Better Get to Livin' 2. Why'd You Come in Here Lookin' Like That 3. More Where That Came From 4. Backwoods Barbie 5. Jolene 6. Here You Come Again 7. Down from Dover* 8. Country Road 9. He's Alive 10. False Eyelashes 11. Together You and I 12. Home 13. Little Sparrow 14. The Grass Is Blue 15. Heartbreaker ALBUM TRACKS (in no particular order) Cologne, Made of Stone, Only Dreamin', Shine Like the Sun, Slow Dancing with the Moon, Wait 'Til I Get You Home, Stairway to Heaven *Down from Dover is an album track too but I love it too much so it definitely belongs up there. I tried to keep the rest just singles though. BOTTOM 1. Me and Little Andy 2. Islands in the Stream - blecht Anything released pre-"Dumb Blonde" before she hit puberty and got her good voice (i.e. Girl Left Alone, Busy Signal, Puppy Love, It's Sure Gonna Hurt) Most of the Porter Wagoner duets because his voice was never quite up to par with her's tbqh Also: What Will Baby Be, We Used To

I need to get more familiar with her older stuff, outside of the big hits, but I really like Dolly and her body of work (from what I know of it anyway). She was finished on radio before I started listening to it. This list is fairly incomplete, due to me not knowing a lot of her older singles, but:
Top:
1. Home 2. You Can't Make Old Friends 3. Jolene 4. Here You Come Again 5. Coat Of Many Colors 6. Two Doors Down 7. 9 To 5 8. You're The Only One 9. Better Get To Livin' 10. I Will Always Love You 11. Love Is Like A Butterfly 12. To Know Him Is To Love Him 13. Why'd You Come In Here Lookin' Like That 14. Islands In The Stream 15. Backwoods Barbie
Bottom:
1. Honky Tonk Songs 2. Jesus And Gravity 3. House Of The Rising Sun (like the original, but it just doesn't sound like a good fit for her)

Dolly's obviously one of the all-time greats, but I had very little exposure to her music growing up and can't recall hearing her on the radio, so I'm not familiar with her at all from a singles standpoint. In recent years I've collected almost all of her albums available on CD and listened to most of them at least once, but not enough to really feel like I know her music very well. One of my 2015 resolutions is to become more familiar with her. That being said, here's my best attempt: TOP 1. The Bargain Store 2. Jolene 3. Joshua 4. Down from Dover 5. My Tennessee Mountain Home 6. Coat of Many Colors BOTTOM 1. Islands in the Stream (I'm with .indulgecountry).
