Unhinged Chart Beat
In a surprise upset this week, Taylor Swift rockets 16-1 with "Cardigan" and grabs her 3rd No. 1 and the weeks' Greatest Gainer honor. After a few near misses ("Look What You Made Me Do," "You Need To Calm Down," and "The Man" all stalled at No. 2) she lands her first topper since "Out Of The Woods." Her accent to the summit means Charlie Puth slips to No. 2 after one week on top with "Girlfriend" and lastly, "Secrets" by Regard & Raye loses steam and dips 2-3 after 2 weeks in the runner up position.
Debuting at No. 31 is Sam Smith (with help from Burna Boy) on "My Oasis." The song is the weeks' Hot Shot Debut and is the follow up to "To Die For" which peaked at No. 2 earlier this year.

Unhinged Chart Beat
Excited to reveal my new chart layout today! I've been working on this for a little while and tried to get it as close to the Billboard Hot 100 chart aesthetic from 1995 as I could. I think it looks pretty good! It's a lot closer to what I initially was going for when I switched to this grid format. Hope ya'll like it!
Taylor Swift holds onto the summit for a second week with "Cardigan," which keeps a strong threat from Troye Sivan at bay as he climbs 6-2 with "Easy." Together they push former No. 1 "Girlfriend" by Charlie Puth down to No. 3.
Miley Cyrus storms the chart this week, entering at No. 21 with "Midnight Sky." Scoring the Hot Shot Debut, she leads a week of 7 new entries, the most in a single week this year.
Sam Smith rockets 31-20 with "My Oasis" and grabs the Greatest Gainer honor.

Unhinged Chart Beat
In a surprise upset this week Miley Cyrus rockets 10-1 with "Midnight Sky" scoring her first solo No. 1 since "We Can't Stop" in 2013. Her last visit to the top, however, was in early 2019 as a feature on the Mark Ronson song "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart." She knocks former No. 1 "Cardigan" by Taylor Swift to No. 2 after three weeks at the summit and Troye Sivan loses steam, slipping 2-3 with "Easy."
Calvin Harris & The Weeknd score the Hot Shot Debut with "Over Now" which enters at No. 24.
"Legends Never Die" by Orville Peck climbs 32-20 (with help from Shania Twain) grabbing the Greatest Gainer honor this week.

Unhinged Chart Beat
Miley Cyrus holds steady at No. 1 for a second frame with "Midnight Sky." Also holding steady is Taylor Swift, who spends a second week at No. 2 after her three week reign at the summit with "Cardigan" and "Levitating" by Dua Lipa races 8-3 (with help from Madonna & Missy Elliott). This is Lipa's 4th visit to the Top 5 this year after "Physical" (No. 1), "Don't Start Now" (No. 2) and "Hallucinate" (No. 4).
Maluma storms onto the chart with "Hawái" which enters at No. 10 and grabs the Hot Shot Debut honor.
"Starting Over" by Chris Stapleton is the weeks Greatest Gainer as it jumps 36-21.
Sadly I'm still having issues w/the hard drive that houses my older personal charts so no Unhinged 25 Year Rewind again this week.

Scoring a third frame at No. 1 is "Midnight Sky" by Miley Cyrus as the Top 2 remains unchanged from last week with Taylor Swift locking the runner up position for a third week. Together they keep Maluma at bay with "Hawái" which rockets 10-3. It becomes his highest placement since his duet with Madonna, "Medellín," which hit No. 1 in 2019.
Usher grabs the Hot Shot Debut with "Bad Habits" which enters at No. 31 and Chris Stapleton scores the Greatest Gainer honor for the second week in a row with "Starting Over" which races 21-10.

Snatching 4 weeks at No. 1 is Miley Cyrus with "Midnight Sky." It joins "Blinding Lights," "Stupid Love," "In Your Eyes," and "Watermelon Sugar" as the only songs this year to reach 4 weeks (or more) on top. She manages to hold off a challenge from both Maluma, who inches 3-2 with "Hawái" and Cardi B (w/Megan Thee Stallion) who shift 6-3 with "WAP." Both songs are contenders for No. 1 as soon as next week.
Lady Gaga scores the Hot Shot Debut with "911" (the third single from Chromatica) which enters at No. 22. It's the follow up to the No. 1 "Rain On Me."
Taylor Swift notches the Greatest Gainer honor this week with "Betty" which rockets 28-15.

Climbing 2-1 this week is Maluma with "Hawái." It marks his first visit to the summit as a solo artist after previously reaching the top with Shakira on "Chantaje" and with Madonna on "Medellín." Cardi B closes the gap by rising 3-2 with "WAP" and "Midnight Sky" by Miley Cyrus slips to No. 3 after 4 weeks at No. 1.
Sam Smith rockets 28-5 with "Diamonds" and grabs the Greatest Gainer honor and second biggest jump in chart history after the 25 leap of "Want You In My Room" by Carly Rae Jepsen last year.
Brandy Clark scores the Hot Shot Debut (with help from Brandi Carlisle) on "Same Devil" which enters at No. 26.

Great chart. I really hope Daughtry has enough fire to go top 10. I like both of those Ava Max songs. Question is will "Naked" pass up "Kings and Queens"?

Holding steady at No. 1 is Maluma with "Hawái." He keeps an ever-growing threat from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion at bay, who stay healthy at No. 2 for a second frame with "WAP." Both songs will have to contend with Sam Smith, who climbs 5-3 with "Diamonds" and looks poised for No. 1, possibly as soon as next week.
Billy Talent grab the Hot Shot Debut with "I Beg To Differ (This Will Get Better)" which enters at No. 23. It has been some time since I've charted them and I may dig through my charts to see exactly when.
24kGoldn scores the Greatest Gainer with "Mood" which surges 36-19.

looks like I'm not the only one who did a chart clean up this week. Love the chart action a clean up does. I still like "Reckless Paradise" more, but the new Billy Talent song is pretty melodic too. I didn't know Kylie Minogue had a new disco bop. gave that one a download/check. ;)

Unhinged Chart Beat
Hey folks, I'm back after a bit of a hiatus. Needed some time to refuel, not just on here but in my everyday life. I'm not going to play catch up with the charts I missed, just going to post the chart for this week ending November14th and I'll most likely post another this Thursday which will be for the week ending November 21st.
All right, so Harry Styles clinches his 2nd No. 1 this week with "Golden" which races 4-1. His previous single "Watermelon Sugar" spent 4 weeks at No. 1 this past summer. He ends the short reign of "911" by Lady Gaga as it slips to No. 2 after one week on top and Sam Smith dips 2-3 with "Diamonds."
Kelly Clarkson & Brett Eldredge score the Greatest Gainer this week with "Under The Mistletoe" which rockets 29-15.
The weeks Hot Shot Debut belongs to Keith Urban & P!nk who enter at No. 31 with "One Too Many."
