So are there any songs that you used to like but no longer do?
Here are mine:
* "Automatic" by Miranda Lambert. I thought it was about a B+ level song on the first several listens. But people started talking it up like it was Song of the Year material but I felt it fell short of that, and the hype seemed to overshadow it's good qualities for me. What finally pushed me into "dislike" territory was when I started taking interest in technological advances (even transhumanism!) and found that such interest left me in almost total disagreement with the song's message. The future is gonna be awesome.
* "Who's Your Daddy?" and "I Love This Bar" by Toby Keith. Overplay ruined them for me as it really made evident how little each song has to offer lyrically or musically.

Rodney Atkins - "Watching You" (don't even need to explain this one)
Miranda Lambert - "Over You" (this song just is not the kind to be played to death)
Thompson Square - "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" (radio, please let this one go quietly into the night. I really enjoyed this when it came out too)
Jason Aldean - "Big Green Tractor" (I still kind of like it well enough but Jason's music direction did not win me over and this song really is a silly one, plus the fact it was so overplayed didn't help. Perhaps the fact his next single was my favorite of his contributed to my erosion of this song as well)

-I was obsessed with Eric Church's debut when it came out, and while I still regard the album as excellent, a few of the songs I used to think were great like "How 'Bout You" and "Guys Like Me" come off as conventional and average now.
-"These Are My People" by Rodney Atkins. Decent song, but vastly overplayed. I never liked "Watching You."
-Garth Brooks, "Rodeo," "Friends in Low Places", and "Thunder Rolls." Used to be all-time favorites, now I find them to be, while not bad, among the least interesting songs Garth has recorded. Granted, being overplayed has a lot to do with this, but I guess I prefer Garth when he's more subtle and understated.
In general there a lot of songs that I used to regard as amazing back when I was a kid/teenager and now view as mediocre or merely good as I've gotten older and heard more, but that's not really the same thing as not liking them at all. I'm pretty easy to please, I guess, and rarely actively dislike songs unless they're aggressively bad.

Billy Currington - "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right" (don't really dislike it but it's just the essence of a song being "there" for me now. I genuinely enjoyed it when it was charting).
Big & Rich - "Lost In This Moment" (again, I don't dislike it; in fact I think it's a good song. But it's just too generic of a subject for Big & Rich, compared to most of their material. I think the reason I liked it so much when it came out is because I was thrilled they had a big #1 single).

Gloriana Kissed You GoodNight. My gosh I kinda liked it cause it was kind of nice to see Gloriana back. But then radio just kept on playing it and kept at it. Every time even this year I would hear the DJ be like up next Gloriana which made me think ok lets here Best Night Ever or Trouble. Nope they played this. I cussed a lot during Trouble's run since I never got to hear it.
Casadee Pope Wasting All These Tears. Liked it at first but the production just ruined this. Also can Casadee stop screaming.

Several of Carrie Underwood's songs from the Play On era, namely "Temporary Home" and "Undo It," both of which I liked (I remember loving TH, especially) during their runs.... but today, they're both near the bottom of her singles for me. I have no real desire to listen to either (radio continuing to play "Undo It" as one of her recurrent mainstays makes this all the more frustrating). Still love "Cowboy Casanova" and loathe "Mama's Song" though.
Also, overplay has killed "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?" for me. I love Thompson Square, but I'm so over that song now.

There's a lot that now apply to this
Florida Georgia Line Get Your Shine On Brett Eldredge Beat Of The Music Keith Urban Long Hot Summer Tim McGraw Highway Don't Care Jason Aldean Night Train Little Big Town Pontoon Blake Shelton My Eyes Chris Young You Brad Paisley Beat This Sunmer Josh Turner Why Don't We Just Dance Miranda Lambert Over You Reba McEntire Turn On the Radio Luke Bryan Roller Coaster
Radio has played these songs so much and I loved all of these so much but the mere opening notes and I'll instantly turn the dial.

"Big Green Tractor" is another one that I like a lot less than I used to. It's just silly and has very little melody.
Also don't like "Jesus, Take the Wheel" anymore. Probably because I'm no longer religious.

Sorry for the doublepost, but just thought of more:
* "Cost of Livin'" by Ronnie Dunn. So much a product of the post-recession era, and it just doesn't hold up well. Especially the "three dollars and change" line, what with gas actually being in the $2 range for quite a while now.
* "It's a Great Day to Be Alive" by Travis Tritt. Possibly because it reminds me of how much a Pollyanna my mom is.

Joe Nichols - Revelation (originally recorded by Waylon Jennings I think, but this is the first version I heard)
The first time I heard this, I was utterly blown away by the uniqueness of the opening verses and how they effectively build tension. But now I find the latter part of the song (after the "reveal" happens) to be way too preachy and over-the-top. I wouldn't say I dislike it, but I've gone from considering it to be a masterpiece to having mixed feelings about it.
