Jeff BhaskerFrequently works with Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson. Big breakthrough came producing for Kanye West after being a keyboardist on the Glow In The Dark Tour. Was one of the main producers on 808s and Fantasy. Helped launch Fun, whom he produced as well. Has also worked with Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and more. I have a soft spot for 80s high reverb drums, so naturally he's one of my favorite producers. He might actually be my top contemporary producer. This instrumental is superb.

Yeah you can pretty much trace 90% of the stuff on that album to those 4 songs as origins. I've often wondered what a particular role he has with them since so much of their recorded sound is because of him, independent of their live shows. Even the repeated multi-tracking was his idea for Nate I think. It's the same thing with Alex Da Kid and Imagine Dragons.
I'd really like to see him work with Kendrick Lamar. The type of production he did on that Dido track where Kendrick guested about 2 years ago showed them to be a good match. Honestly, he'd prob work great with Frank Ocean and Drake as well, seeing as how those 3 pay homage to 808s with careers.

Alicia Keys ("Wait Till You See My Smile") and Kanye West on MBDTF ("Love Lockdown" and "Coldest Winter") was the start of that big drum and 808 sound for him. A lot of the artists just write melodies and he bases the productions towards that. Both Nate and Jack Antonoff are very melodic driven songwriters. The man produces drunk bar anthems for days and I love it. I remember going into Wickey Willys in Greenwich on Bleecker and everybody was siging in unison on 2-3 of his productions in a row. Amazing.

His work on Some Nights was HOT. Some Nights , alone, is such a banger.

Immensely talented producer who truly gets it! Love his work and I love how he's so good but yet he's still very selective

His work on Some Nights was HOT. Some Nights , alone, is such a banger. Even just the "Some Night" Intro, piano triple meter, acapella, broadway musical feel to it gave me life for weeks like
