There was a country music-oriented episode of Cold Case several years ago that featured several songs by Tim McGraw (IIRC, one of them was "I Got Friends That Do").

There was a country music-oriented episode of Cold Case several years ago that featured several songs by Tim McGraw (IIRC, one of them was "I Got Friends That Do"). Great episode of TV. I'll admit, I liked Cold Case. They had some great tunes in that song including a criminally under-rated version of Larry Bagby's "Counting My Lucky Stars". "Buddy" - Willie Nelson (Parks and Recreation, Leslie and Ron and One Last Ride) Gosh, this one...I'm a major Parks & Rec fan and even though I'm not a Willie Nelson fan really, the fact the Ron Swanson loves the song makes me respect it. Also, the way it's used in the finale...just perfect. |

Doesn't really count but Al Bundy once sang "North To Alaska" by Johnny Horton in one of the season 5 episodes of Married, With Children. :)

Yup lol! It's funny, because I just got into the show this year, and I was surprised at some of the country songs that were either mentioned or just sung by Al in a moment to recall his glory days. There was a mention of Glen Campbell somewhere in the 2nd season, but I can't think of why lol. |
