After releasing mixtapes while still attending Duke University, Mike Posner signed a record deal with RCA Records in 2009. This was his first single promoted to radio and was the lead single from his album, "31 Minutes to Takeoff." It was recorded in his dorm room. I had no idea the single version was a remix. One of my best friends was obsessed with this song in 2009, and I've always liked it as well. The original is very bland in comparison.

I was a big fan of this. I got into it towards the end of its run because I didn't listen to radio that much around that time and I somehow missed out. I still like it today.
