This was the first single from his sophomore album, "Exclusive," released in 2007. It was written and produced by Sean Garrett. It's one of his only singles to not go to top 10 at urban radio, and it peaked at a disappointing #79 on the Hot 100. It was very bland, so I'm not surprised if flopped. But one thing I associate this song with was that VMA performance he did with Rihanna, where he was jumping from table to table and doing choreography. I think that was where most people really started to take notice of him as a dancer. The video paid homage to Michael Jackon's "Thiller" video:

This was so hot, fuck the haters.
I was so pressed when this flopped and the bland Kiss Kiss become the big hit.

I thought the song was going to be big for him like "Run It!". After all these years it still sounds good.

I like this more than a lot of his hits from this period.

Can't believe this only peaked at #79. Anyway, this song contains far and away my favorite bridge from Chris Brown. The background vocals on you know I would take all y'all with me, still give me chills today.

How exactly did this song it flop? I'm so confused because I've been re-listening to it lately and it felt like a hit at the time.
It was his official lead single for the "Exclusive" album, which had 3 massive top 10s (one going #1) right after and followed his debut album which had a string of notable hits.
This was at his prime and it sounded so hot it wasn't even a weak/controversial song. How did it just randomly flop in his golden years where nearly everything he dropped was a certified hit?

From my memory, for whatever dumbass reason it didn't catch on at radio and Zomba didn't release a digital single (which were huge at the time). I still love it more than the snoozer "Kiss, Kiss".

I wouldn't say it flopped. "Wall To Wall" did get some airplay on Urban and Rhythmic stations and was a moderate hit, but wasn't nearly as big as his following hits "Kiss, Kiss", "With You", "Forever", and even "Take You Down".
