I really hope Earned It can make airplay top ten on this week's Radio Songs chart and top five on the Hot 100 on 4/11 (maybe even this week 4/4)! My local HAC station 104.5 CHUM FM has been spinning it a lot lately so I guess they really like that song too! And I believe it is in the top 30 now on USA HAC too!

Since UF still has a huge lead over the other songs in the Top 5, is it possible that the song to dethrone UF isn't even out yet? Cause even if UF starts falling, it will have to fall pretty hard for the other songs in the Top 5 to take over before they start falling too.

how far in advance are performances on The Voice known/announced? as someone in another thread pointed out, both Adam and Ellie have prominent roles this season (Coach and Advisor), so a "Sugar" or LMLYD performance could do the trick in a few weeks (depending what happens with airplay in the meantime.)
or just a video of a cop singing along.

I just realized that Uptown Funk is #1 in airplay by such a wide margin WITHOUT being #1 on a single format! :O Crazy!

It's scary to see how UF has as health in its 11th week at #1 as a 3rd-4th week at #1 in a typical #1 song.

I wonder how long UF can really stay at the top. Seems this week is already in the bag for 12, I'm guessing 13 is a good bet as well. I'm not smart enough into the current methodology to project further than that, but I'm thinking the record is still safe unless it continues to sell well and nothing big is released in the next 2-3 weeks.

It's biggest challengers aren't moving fast enough to overtake it any time soon. I agree week 12 is a lock and week 13 looks pretty good too. Getting to 17 weeks and knocking out Mariah and the Boyz seems a bit of a stretch at this point.
Does it have enough of a lead to stay 6 more weeks? DOes not look likely. One of the current challengers could sneak a week or two in at the top before the "next big thing" is released.

Uptown Funk still #1 on iTunes. This is never going away. ...it also returned to #1 on Spotify US, and only the official MV got 35 million views on Youtube. There's also one video that gone viral last week (4.7 million views), + Michelle Obama dancing to UF! on Ellen. I'm starting to have my doubts if Sugar wiill be able to overtake it on radio if UF! keeps decreasing as steadily as it does now. Streaming is just different animal... Unless sth goes viral (other than UF! ) and gets like +100k lead in downloads UF! seems to be safe for several weeks.

Not sure if it's my age, but I'm turning to one of those people who barely likes any of the current music out there.

First single "Living for Love" reached No. 36 on Pop Songs, aided by concentrated plays on iHeartMedia-owned stations; spins on certain AC stations in the chain likewise spur the start of "Ghosttown." (It bubbles under Adult Pop Songs, also thanks to iHeartMedia plays in that format).
The bow of "Ghosttown" ends Madonna's longest break from charting on AC: she last reached the list with "Jump," which hit No. 21 in January 2007. She makes her 36th visit to the tally. Since her first week on the chart in June 1984 (with "Borderline"), only Elton John (43), Celine Dion (41) and Rod Stewart (40) have made more appearances. Swindell previously led with "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight," which topped the Oct. 11, 2014 chart. His prior, and first, chart entry, "Chillin' It," reached No. 2 a year ago this month.
Trivial trivia: perhaps surprisingly, given the subject's traditional prominence in the genre, Swindell's new leader is just the thirdd No. 1 on Country Airplay (which began in 1990) with the word "whiskey" in its title. The others to set the bar (pun intended) so high: Frankie Ballard's "Sunshine & Whiskey" (November 2014) and Toby Keith's "Whiskey Girl" (July 2004). I think Bruno breaking the record is 100% reliant on how fast Sugar or LMLYD catches up Or Earned It. I mean look at those airplay gains lol and I can see it resuming gains in sales and streaming too. I'm not saying its likely to be #1 but I'm just saying we shouldn't rule it out as a possibility EDIT: 3x plat yay

There's also Shut Up And Dance which is looking like the sleeper hit of 2015 (well from 2014 but blowing up in 2015)

So torn. It's cool to see Bruno have such longevity, but I also would love to see Sugar as a third single hit number one while the two earlier singles while big couldn't. Sugar and Funk are selling pretty similarly at this point. It will come down to radio play in the next few weeks.

Sugar and Funk are selling pretty similarly at this point. Not really lol Funk is a good 15-20% ahead of Sugar (don't forget Funk has a second version in the top 100 as well). And also Sugar is pretty far behind in airplay as well as streaming. Funk is still destroying the competition in streaming. Unfortunately, like icefire9 said, it is looking like Sugar will get blocked unless it manages to hold up as well as All Of Me did almost a year ago.

That's exactly why I'm saying this. Between those three songs, Sugar will peak first, LMLYD will peak next, and Earned It will peak last (in airplay, at least). This means that if Uptown Funk continues to dominate, Sugar will be the first song to get blocked.

I know Funk is leading. I think that sales are closer and will continue to grow closer. Airplay will be the crucial factor.
