After "Deep Six" went Top 10 on Active, how will Manson's followup fare?

After "Deep Six" went Top 10 50 on Active Alternative, how will Manson's followup fare? I really just couldn't resist...we all know half the board will think of this first anyways

I honestly think "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge" should've done some damage on Alt but "Deep Six" clocking into Top 50 was pretty neat, albeit odd considering much more fitting songs such as "I Want Out" and "New Wave" do nothing.

Aside from "Deep Six", which I ended up really liking, I couldn't really pinpoint any other single-worthy songs on the album to be honest. The ones that came closest were "Killing Strangers" and "Cupid Carries a Gun" IMO. Not entirely sure about this choice, but could do decently after the former's high peak. And yes, the Top 50 appearance on Alternative was pretty cool too.

This is pretty decent, but not as instant as "Deep Six". I really wish "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge" would have gotten a bigger push, that song is awesome.

I love the album but it doesn't scream radio-friendly to me. I hope this at least gets Top 20 though and doesn't crash and burn like his past couple 2nd singles.

My favorite from the album. I wish "Third Day..." would have gotten more Alt airplay as well.

I'm just glad to see this song get it's own thread. Great song. reminds me a bit of "Tourniquet"..and for the record, I think Active snubbed "Deep Six". That song more than deserved top 5 status.

Nice to see Manson back to his Anti-Christ ways. J/K. I actually enjoyed the video. The song deserves some Active chart action.

wow! this was much better than I expected...I even think it could make inroads on AAA if anyone other than Marilyn Manson was singing it

Can they just scrape/delay this and re-push Third Day of a Seven Day Binge?

I really can't tell if the two posts above mine are positive or negative. Half and half maybe?

I just listened to 3rd Day... & I like it too! I'm surprised because I thought this guy was washed up but this seems like a major comeback album for him, not that commercially he'll ever reach the heights of popularity he had in the 90s, but critically I think this is probably his best work yet (or at least tied with Mechanical Animals). and Doc Indie Party Rock, me mentioning AAA was not meant to be a slam but rather an indication of how this guy's music has matured (in a good way)

Thought it could've been a slam on his vocals, but I can see how it would first rain in hell, before AAA would let Marilyn Manson on the AAA chart
