"Trouble" could've reach the top 10 if it was. "See You Again" would likely be higher than #10 for this week.
If it could help determine the popularity of the song more accurate , why not? I think it would really be hard for Facebook and Billboard to determine which would count or not and I know there are still lots of loopholes with the YouTube stream counting such as not counting the streams if it's not under the Music category.
This is why I have a hard time thinking of this because either if they include it or not, there would be times that it would be reasonable and there would also be times that it won't.
Your thoughts?

I think it'll happen eventually. As a collective, we've caught on quickly before Billboard. Facebook just needs to push.

I absolutely think they should - but as you yourself posted in another thread, I don't think Billboard is picking-and-choosing what type of streams do and don't count: RAISING THE 'DEAD' QUESTION"Hi Mark. Thanks for your question. Billboard is only able to include YouTube views in chart calculations for songs that are properly registered by the video clip content owner, claimed by a licensed representative of the song being used in the clip, or identified by YouTube's content ID system. This also includes user-generated videos utilizing official song audio.
Due to superseding licensing agreements between the video clip content owner and song owner, or the song owner and YouTube, views of certain clips that feature song audio might not be counted. In regards to the two songs you mention, the licensing agreements most likely differed, leading to data from only one of the titles making its way from YouTube to Billboard. For more about YouTube's content ID system, please feel free to check here." I don't fully understand every aspect of this, but it seems like Billboard only receives the data for certain videos based on licenses and such. If Facebook isn't able or willing to send their data to Billboard, there's not much Billboard can do.

At the rate they are going with this rule change, how often one sings these songs in the shower will be incorporated into the chart. It's ridiculous.
