They're doing January 11th of 2003 this week. I have zero recollection of "Strong Enough To Be Your Man" by Travis Tritt ever being on the radio. Sheryl Crow or a different song? I'm confused. "Strong Enough To Be Your Man" by Travis Tritt is the song I brought up...

January 12th of 2008 this week. I've heard two Christmas songs -- "Last Christmas" by Taylor Swift and "Do You Hear What I Hear" by Carrie Underwood. ...I'm just thankful it wasn't that Song Trust song, "Bring Him Home Santa".

The Throwback 30 this week was the first week of July in 2004. It was awesome hearing the first half of the countdown this afternoon. "Men Don't Change" "Break Down Here" "Rough & Ready" "Suds In The Bucket" "I Wanna Make You Cry" "If Nobody Believed In You" "Me And Emily" "Tougher Than Nails" "In A Real Love" Oh the nostalgia. :) I miss Jeff Bates! I loved the music video for " I Wanna Make You Cry".

Trace on Throwback 30 this morning in regards to "Jesus, Take The Wheel" blocking "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" from #1 -
"Carrie's Jesus song blocked my ass song from going #1."

I head "There You Go Again" by Kenny Rogers on Throwback 30 this week. No recollection of that one. Pretty boring one.

So....Trace said on this week's Throwback 30 (before he played "Bring It On Home") that it was Little Big Town's first top 10 single... ...Uh, no??? There's this song called "Boondocks", Trace...perhaps you've heard of it.

May of 2008 is this week. "If You Didn't Love Me" by Phil Stacey is a terrible song. It's hook is weak and Stacey's voice isn't suited for the melody and arrangement. No surprise that stalled at the top 30. ...however, its not even the worst song on the countdown; that honor goes to "She's A Hottie" by Toby.

June 3rd of 2000 this past week.
I heard a song called "Stuck In Love" by The Judds that somehow I never heard before today. Didn't care for it; might have been my least favorite if theirs I've heard.

June of 2007.
Heard "Isn't She" by Carolina Rain. I don't think they played a chart week show, when the song was in the top 30 last year, so this was the first time I've heard this song on the radio in probably 9 years. Awesome. :)
