I have high hopes for this, based on the first two singles. I'm really looking forward to this album.

I hope this is good because I really love "Castaway", and think it would be a perfect summer single. Not sure why worried though, I can't think of one ZBB song that I don't like.

Well I've loved "Homegrown", "Heavy Is The Head", and "Dress Blues" so I'm actually really excited for this. I've heard this song described as 50's/60's Motown-esque so it should be interesting.

Yeah a conversation between Windmills and ryankentm on Twitter called this song "groovy." I pretty much support anything Zac Brown Band does, but I don't want to see them hop on the r&b, poppy sounding train.

I have not heard the song yet, but one of my close friends in radio said he heard 30 seconds saying it was very "upbeat and groovy". I'm hearing it will be released to radio this Thursday morning.

Don't forget the new Brett Eldridge song too. Seems like sub 3 minutes is a new (old) trend (it also allows for more possible AirPlay Chances than say a 4 minute song.

I'm actually a fan of most of his stuff (writes and produced tracks) as well, but he was a co-producer and co-writer on three of the four songs on EYB's Turn It On EP, which needles to say, I was disappointed in. Though Jeremy Stover had a hand in that as well, plus the purpose change in style for that particular EP. I agree though, Ross is very talented and he's only 32 years old.

Wow, have they ever released a song that they didn't write or Wyatt Durrett didn't co-write? This seems like it might be the first outside cut they have done.

This and "Free" are their only singles that weren't co-written by Wyatt Durette, but "Free" was written by Brown alone. I think this is the first single Brown didn't co-write.

Does anyone know who the last act was to top both the country chart and rock chart around the same time? onebuffalo, sabre14, or jhomes87 do any of you have an idea? I know "All Summer Long" did great on both charts for Kid Rock obviously.

I like this a lot. I wish it was longer! Very laid back, summer type song. I see this easily being a hit.

As much as I liked Homegrown, I dislike this one. This group is pretty hit or miss with me. I love all their Ballads but other than Homegrown, I've not cared for any of their up-tempos or island/carribean sound.

Yeah this is really solid. Zac sounds amazing on this, and it has the perfect vibe for summer. I too wish it was about a minute longer, but oh well, it's still a great song. I love that this is distinct and totally different than "Homegrown" and all of their other singles. This should be another #1 for them.

By the way, this is NOT written by the writers mentioned. Lyrics hereIt's written by Zac Brown, Niko Moon, Al Anderson. What the hell was that around the 1:47 mark?? That would be the new, and improved Zac Brown rangy vocal.

I like this a lot. I love the 70s feel to it, almost feels like something Kenny Rogers would do back in the day.

I was just listening to it and I was thinking "this doesn't sound like a Ross Copperman or Jessi Alexander co-write?", lol. This sounds like an Al Anderson co-write for sure though. I echo the sentiments that I wish it was longer. It definitely feels like I'm going back in time about 30 years with the feel of this and I like the instrumentation. I'll always enjoy songs like "Colder Weather" and "Goodbye In Her Eyes" the most from them but this is pretty solid on first (now second) listen.

I want to add that I'm listening to the album via a secure stream and while very good, it's definitely gonna ruffle some feathers of long time fans of their albums. "Mango Tree" is a big band song. "Remedy" is a gospel number, and there is "Heavy Is The Head," a song we know some will love (like me) and others will hate because it's "not country." "Tomorrow Never Comes" has a feel of what James Taylor would sound like on a mainstream dance pop track (with banjos and mandos). Think Aloe Blacc's "Wake Me Up" (Acoustic) and you'll get the idea. It's the best (original) song musically and lyrically on the record in my eyes so I can see why there's a studio and an acoustic version on Jekyll+Hyde. This song will likely be a big POP hit ("Beautiful Drug" could be too). "One Day With You" feels like another AM Radio hit from the 70s
Songs with country radio potential: "Wildfire," "Castaway," "Young And Wild," "I'll Be Your Man (Song For A Daughter)" and "Tomorrow Never Comes (Acoustic)." "Dress Blues" may just be 'too long' for radio to play it but it is a great song.

I like Loving You Easy. However, the song is trying too hard to be about a 'billion' other songs. Should be an easy #1 for the Zac Brown Band. Country radio will eat this one up.

Any idea who the producer is on the album? Is it all Zac Brown/Jay Joyce or someone else? Google is clueless.
But this track sounds rather Joyce-y to me; who else would put that wah-wah effect on the fiddle? Love the groove and harmonies of this one as usual. Hot off the smash that "Homegrown" was, this song should have no trouble scaling the charts.

I like this. It's nice little song. I think the transition from 1:45 to the next part of the song was a little awkward, but I'll probably look past that on further listens.
Question for people that have listened to the album: Is there any other rockier songs on the album similar to "Heavy is the Head"? I really like that one and with them going #1 on Active Rock with it, I was wondering if there would be a followup or not.
