What are some country singles over the years you felt were boring? Note: Everyone has different songs they find totally uninteresting, so there's definitely going to be some unpopular opinions. :)
Hunter Hayes - "Wanted" Lady Antebellum - "Wanted You More" Billy Currington - "Let Me Down Easy" Keith Urban - "Without You" Reba McEntire - "I Keep On Loving You" Kenny Chesney w/Dave Matthews - "I'm Alive" George Strait - "The Breath You Take" Blake Shelton - "All About Tonight" Blake Shelton - "Over" Blake Shelton - "Mine Would Be You" Blake Shelton - "My Eyes" (^^^I wasn't even trying to be funny here) Rascal Flatts - "I Won't Let Go" Brooks & Dunn - "That's What She Gets For Loving Me" Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood - "Love Will Always Win" Vince Gill - "The Reason Why" Lonestar - "I'll Die Tryin"

Every thing pretty much that Brad Paisley sings.....IMO. Even his guitar playing is boring.

Gwen Sebastian - "Throw It Back" Keith Urban - "Lit Bit Of Everything" Lonestar - "The Countdown" Hunter Hayes - "Wanted" Dierks Bentley - "Sideways" Lady Antebellum - "We Owned The Night" Toby Keith - "Drinks After Work" Toby Keith - "Drunk Americans" Toby Keith - "Bullets In The Gun"

My Eyes - Blake Shelton This is the definition of bland IMO. I can't hate the song because it's not even offensive, it's just there.

Chris Young - "Who I Am With You" Chuck Wicks - "Hold That Thought" Darius Rucker - "I Got Nothin'" Emerson Drive - "Belongs To You" LeAnn Rimes - "Some People" Pat Green - "What I'm For" (I really tried to get into this one too. I still think "Country Star" shouldn't have been pulled for it)

I included some recent songs as well as some oldies. There are some listed above that I actually have always enjoyed (Vince Gill's "The Reason Why"; Carrie Underwood's "Mama's Song"; Brandy Clark's "Stripes").
Jason Aldean - everything in the current Old Boots era...can't wait for it to be over. can't. stand. one. song. Garth Brooks - It's Your Song Eric Church - Like A Wrecking Ball Hunter Hayes - Invisible Alan Jackson - Too Much Of A Good Thing Lonestar - Amazed Dustin Lynch - anything released after "Cowboys and Angels" Tim McGraw - Southern Girl John Michael Montgomery - I Swear John Michael Montgomery - I Can Love You Like That Jerrod Niemann - Buzz Back Girl RaeLynn - God Made Squirrels (err I mean Girls) Reba - If I Were A Boy Blake Shelton - Doin' What She Likes Blake Shelton - Sangria (I've never really liked this song and kind of surprised by the hit it's turning out to be...it's just "there" for me) George Strait - Love's Gonna Make It Alright (just saying as a big fan this isn't one of my favorite radio singles and kind of a bland song for me) Travis Tritt - Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof Carrie Underwood - Just A Dream

Don't hate me for this! Something in the Water. It felt like subject material we'd already heard from her.
Talladega was also just there for me. I couldn't get into that at ALL.

Every Carrie and Hunter song. [Don't shoot me!] Alone With You by Jake Owen. Any Blake song from his new album plus My Eyes and Doin' What She Likes.

While I realize its all subjective but I guess I have a different opinion on what makes a boring song. For instance , I would consider Blake Shelton's entire discography of the last five years to be completely boring with the exception of "Neon Light" , which was a little different, & "Boys Round Here" , which wasn't boring....it was just offensively bad. I would add Lady A's entire discography to the list of what I consider boring or bland. Not offensively bad , just terribly uninspiring to the point , that unless I concentrate really hard , I'll forget their music is even on & start thinking random stuff like "what should I have for lunch"? Jason Aldean is another one , I generally have to concentrate to decipher if I'm listening to his latest singles ...or something he released 6 years ago.

My picks, and why:
Hunter Hayes, "Wanted". Flat melody, no variation in instrumentation, a piano riff I could've played when I was 6, and boring lovey-dovey platitudes that no one over 14 would believe. (The fact that his fanbase was largely composed of 14-year-old girls notwithstanding.)
Kenny Chesney, "The Boys of Fall". Uninteresting subject matter to me, boring monotone Casey Beathard melody.
Rascal Flatts, "Take Me There". No buildup, no variation in anything. If this song had Gary caterwauling all over the place like he usually did at this point in their career, it would've at least gotten my attention in some way.
Blake Shelton, "Over". Another two-note melody. Shame, since there are some decent lyrics, but they just get lost in the non-melody.
Vince Gill, "Which Bridge to Cross (Which Bridge to Burn)", "No Future in the Past", "The Reason Why", etc. Is it just me, or are about half his ballads just the same song with different words? (And yet my favorite song of his, "Pocket Full of Gold", is a ballad.)
Canaan Smith, "Love You Like That". Nothing lyrically or sonically in it that holds my attention for even a second. It took me at least 20 listens to recall even a single line, and even now I barely remember anything. A very rare misfire from the Beavers camp.
Carrie Underwood, "Something in the Water". Average lyrics dragged down by way too much bombast.
Justin Moore, "Lettin' the Night Roll". Again, nothing bad in it, just nothing that held my attention, and the production's too harsh to boot.
Jana Kramer, "Love". "Love, I still believe in you." Come back when you have something more original to say.
Rascal Flatts, "Changed". Uninspired religious motivation, "Something in the Water" minus the bombast.
Taylor Swift, "Red". Good idea with the color theme, but it's not built up nearly enough, so it's just re-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh.
Keith Urban, "Without You". Total cliché fest; I correctly predicted a whole line on the first listen. Boring melody and he also sounds uncharacteristically weak on it.
Brad Paisley, "Then". Same complaints as above, except that the melody is somewhat better and Brad's vocals actually sound better than usual on it.
Dierks Bentley, "Am I the Only One". Decent lyrics, but it's just so lethargic and uninteresting.
Trace Adkins, "Just Fishin'". Great lyrics, but the nonexistant melody makes it impossible for me to get into. I can usually memorize a song in five listens, but I kept going "Wait, what song is this again?" literally every time it came on. Have I mentioned that Casey Beathard can NOT WRITE A FREAKING MELODY TO SAVE HIS LIFE?!

Decent lyrics, but it's just so lethargic and uninteresting. Agreed on all of these as well. "Lettin' The Night Roll" had such a non-existent melody for me to be interested in and the guitar riff got old fast. I forgot about "Changed." That one might be even more boring than my pick of "I Won't Let Go." I usually love anything Brad writes but "Then" had to be the most uncreative and dull song he's ever recorded, let alone released as a lead freakin' single. But it spent multiple weeks at #1 so what do I know?

To be frank, most current mainstream country is boring to me, as I generally find the lyrics formulaic and shallow, and the production to be way too bland, cluttered, and/or syrupy. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. Sorry, couldn't resist.
But here's some songs I find to be boring by artists I normally find to be decent to very reliable:
Alan Jackson - Country Boy Brad Paisley - Then Brooks & Dunn - Hillbilly Deluxe Dierks Bentley - Sideways Eric Church - Drink in My Hand Eric Church - Love Your Love the Most Garth Brooks - One Night a Day Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood - In Another's Eyes George Strait - Give It All We've Got Tonight George Strait - The Breath You Take Martina McBride - There You Are Miranda Lambert - The Fastest Girl in Town Pam Tillis - Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life) Randy Travis - It's Just a Matter of Time (not bad by any means, just not my style of music) Tim McGraw - Watch the Wind Blow By Trace Adkins - Swing

I was actually going to include both of these two songs in my original post, but for whatever reason left them off. Carrie's "Something In the Water" seemed to be the breaking point for me with her as I'm past the point of these belting out overly produced songs. I've barely made it through "Little Toy Guns" without hitting skip. I prefer the "See You Again" and "Don't Forget To Remember Me" Carrie vs. the "Undo It" and "Something In the Water" Carrie. "Talladega" has always just been kind of there for me...not much I can relate to but I understand why it became the hit it did. I'll still pretty much skip it every time though.
