I liked this song better than "The Gospel According to Saint Me." I haven't heard anything from Veruca Salt since probably the late-90s and really liked their singles back then. After looking them up just now, this is their first new major album in nine years. I really hope one of these songs does something on Alternative.

Nina Gordon had 2 solo albums & "Tonight & The Rest Of My Life" got played a lot on AC/Hot AC & AAA - weird how it sounded NOTHING like Veruca Salt, nice to hear the original VS sound back...even if Nina is the better singer, I guess they wouldn't rock without Louise

This is better than the other one. Now if only somebody could get Louise to quit singing lead... Louise at times; sorta sounds, like; Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles, so I have no problem with her vocals. I wouldn't mind this getting some Alt chart action. |
