Underwhelmed. The song is nice, but I feel the chorus could be stronger. Prefer "I Really Like You" for now.

LOVE this song. Way better than her last, pop perfection. Would have totally fit on Taylor's 1989 but I actually think Carly's voice is sweeter and works better for it.

After 3 days and putting this on repeat often, am I the only one who thinks this song gives off a "Teenage Dream" vibe? Especially if you listen to the song structure and the buildup toward the end.

I don't think it sounds anything like Teenage Dream, really at all. BUT it's so interesting that you said that because the themes, vibe, imagery, and lyrics of it directly parallel a worldwind teenage romance. So thematically it feels very similar, but I don't know where you're picking up on it sonically.
This song is amazing.

Why does it need to be cleaned? What's "dirty" in this? I meant that it was not a radio rip, and didn't have any DJ talk at the start and the end. It was probably ripped from the Japan CD and sped up somewhat. |

:)DJ'd a big wedding reception yesterday, and after the party, as the guests were giving the couple a sparkler send-off, I played "Run Away With Me."
No fewer that 3 people came up the me and asked "what is that song, that's awesome, love it!" I think this is the song that puts our girl Carly back in the top 10 where she belongs. It is so totally catchy and infectious. Summer smash!
