The vocals during the chorus. Not a fan of this and it's boring as hell.

so is she making music specifically for urban ac now? I remember on her show she said she didnt want to make "Ribs and Barbque" music meaning R&B and she is making exactly what she said she didnt want. At least "let me know" didnt sound completely out of place on urban radio but this song doesnt stand a chance outside of urban ac. The song is an album filler and she needs to stop straining her voice trying to sing out of her range.

Sadly, I'll pass on this. It sucks since her singles have been terrific until now.

Easily her worst single to date.

A nice track, I just love her voice.
The melody is kind of weird to me, the verses and chorus feel like they don't belong to the same song. But I prefer this sound a million times over that horrid uptempo fake-ratchet shit she was trying out on her first album.

At times she sounds whiny but I kinda like this? It's alright nothing to scream about. She is a interesting creature, I just love the maturity and class that only shows in her music and vocals.

I'm not crazy about it on the first listen, but I don't get extreme negativity. It's a solid, little song and I can see it doing well at Urban AC. I agree that she's forcing them notes out though; there was no need to belt it that high.

This is pretty dull. I don't think it's bad, but it's definitely the weakest of her singles since her breakthrough.

This sounds almost identical to "I Choose You" by Keyshia Cole. Weird coincidence since Love & War sounded like Trust & Believe.

The key is definitely too high, but I like it. Excited for the album!

This sounds like it belongs on Keyshia's Point Of No Return. Filler album track at best, definitely not single material.

Tamar's strong radio record right now should bring it at least to the top 10 at Urban AC.
Urban will probably give it enough spins for top 40. I just hope they have adequate promotion lined up for the album to scan at least 85k first week.

This sounds almost identical to "I Choose You" by Keyshia Cole. I came in here to say this. I have been trying to figure out why this sounded so familiar since the first time I listened. It does sound a lot like the Keyshia song.

I like it, but I agree that it's not her best single. Sad cause I normally instant-love her singles!

Her vocals are so shrill during the chorus, but the song itself isn't bad. I love the verses and the pre-chorus. And the instrumental is nice. Just wish she would have sang chorus differently.

It does sound a lot like the Keyshia song. This. I had the song in my head but kept thinking "Wrong Side of A Love Song" but it's clear it's closer to "I Choose You". This song is the weakest of the 3.

The song actually reminds me of Alicia Keys' "Wreckless Love" more than Keyshia Cole. The beat and melody are very similar to that than "I Choose You."

I see where she was trying to go with this, but she missed the mark with me. It has this off -ness about it. It does sound copy and paste. The production isn't full enough along with her vocals being off key too. I didn't expect this because it is not strong at all.

I actually love this record! It's just too high in key and it causes unnecessary strain. She did the same thing with Let Me Know. I think it bothers me because I feel she's doing that just to show she can. Still excited for the album.
