Anyone knows if Avicii's "Waiting For Love" has a chance to enter this week? It has been my fucking jam lately.

Maroon 5 could zoom up the charts this week with their latest single. The music video is being talked about on nearly every major entertainment site. Even if Bad Blood loses out on #1 this week,It will be back there soon. The song is far from over. Don't think anyone is disputing that. This will probably have a second run at number one as soon as radio catches up. 'See You Again' though as everyone as likely figured out by now will likely be seen again at #1. Some of the people in this thread haven't been this worked up over the chart position of a song since, well...Uptown Funk.

'Shake It Off' followed a similar trajectory that may happen here. Hitting #1 out of the box then returning to #1 once radio catches up.

'Shake It Off' followed a similar trajectory that may happen here. Hitting #1 out of the box then returning to #1 once radio catches up. Shake It Off also had Spotify streaming from September to November to help as sales started to slip. There were 8 weeks between the first 2 weeks at #1 (which were sales driven) and the second 2 weeks at #1 (radio & streaming driven). Plus the second turn at #1 was when the album dropped and she had nonstop promo.

Well in this case, if it goes back to #1 it would be because radio caught up.
We all know See You Again is returning to #1, we do not know for how long. There is a reasonable chance the song that knocks it out a second time could be Bad Blood, once it gets closer to a peak at radio.

Not too many people here were alive when that happened. In modern times, lead artist listings such as this are rare. (Obviously with featurings, happens a little more) Edit: "rare" in this context means it almost never happens. However, there are obviously examples where it does happen

Big hits end up charting on Latin radio. Oh, I just presumed it was from South America, but still, it sounds very similar to stuff of that genre so. And yeah, rn on Latin Urban, Pour It Up is 49, Pretty Girls #35, Hey Mama #29, Coco #31, etc

Latin Urban is a weird format. I dont know if they revised the panel, but some of the stations that were classed Latin Urban were basically Top 40 stations that played a few reggaeton songs.

SIO returned to #1 because a spike of streaming for 2 weeks, it had already peaked in radio I think it would've still returned to #1 since AATB was already falling in all three metrics by then. I knew SIO would return to #1

What I Did For Love - Glee Cast Also just 4. I think my point was 4 in the top 40 still happens without featurings but is rare. So Taylor Swift having 4 in the top 40 as a lead artist can be looked at as a less than common achievement.
