- Sugar is now the 2nd longest song staying in the top ten from its debut week (with 20 weeks, tied with I Gotta Feeling). Didn't Shake It Off do this too? Naw, it fell to No. 11 in its 18th week. 11 10 18 Shake It Off - Taylor Swift - Big Machine | Republic

It really does suck it fell, bc otherwise it would've beaten the Starships record, which would've been nice as, without AATB, it would've ruled for quite a long time, which imo it deserved (and I am aware what I feel deserves to be #1 does not have to be #1, just bc I feel that way)

Frankly, I see that as such a random record that I don't see why anyone cares.

Well, We got the lists for most weeks in the top 2, top 3 and now top 5.
Uptown Funk has also spent time at #4 and #6, was surprised we did not get those - LOL
Regardless though, this is one of the longest running songs near the top of the chart of all time, we will likely get more of these lists as the song continues to decline.
The Starships song that had most weeks in the top 10 after debuting in the top 10 that some people are following, not really interested in that one. That is something that can't be measured across "all time" anyway. Top 10 debuts are commonplace now, but were rare prior to 20 years ago.

Booya!-New to the top 20 are both mover Watch Me (which has been improving in sales) (25-19; streaming gainer) and top debuter The Hills at the edge spot of #20. Along with Cheerleader previously reported (27-16; sales gainer), they boot Somebody (19-23), Thinking Out Loud (16-22), and...Dear Future Husband? (14-21) Apparently the latter has lost all of its steam in something... (Also, since I just mentioned all the specials except one, the top airplay gainer is Bad Blood (1-2)) -Lean On blasts 33-24 this week, becoming MO's first top quarter hit along with DJ Snake's third. Speaking of, his collab with AlunaGeorge, You Know You Like It, moves forward 18-16 this week. -This Summer's Gonna Hurt... edges 31-30. -New and returning hits: aforementioned The Hills, Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh) (44-31), Take Your Time (41-37; it should benefit from a sale this week), The Night is Still Young (51-38), and Sangria (43-40; this is now Blake's first hit single from Bringing Back the Sunshine after Neon Light and Lonely Tonight barely missed). -No longer hits: Kick the Dust Up (26-41), Pretty Girls (38-45), One Last Time (40-46), Feeling Myself (39-X, recurrent), and Please (37-X). -New and returning to the top 50: aforementioned The Hills, aforementioned The Night is Still Young, Smoke (53-48), and Don't It (52-50). -Off the top 50: aforementioned Feeling Myself, aforementioned Please, Take Me to Church (48-X, recurrent), and Nasty (42-54; I guess since the freestyle no longer uses it, there's less incentive to check it out). -#51-#59 are basically a string of songs surging and ready to go to the top half: Be Real (57-51), Photograph (58-52), Commas (61-55), Uma Thurman (70-56), Love Me Like You Mean It (62-57), Wild Child (64-58), and Little Toy Guns (65-59). -A$AP Rocky, thanks to the new album, launches two new tracks: L$D at #62 and Electric Man at #80. -Several songs that seemed dead are getting a second wind: Baby Be My Love Song zooms 81-65, I Need Your Love gets a significant boost 73-66, Diamond Rings and Old Barstools blasts 85-68, The Matrimony recovers 78-71, Tonight Looks Good on You jumps 94-74, Crash and Burn fires up 91-76, and Crushin' It parties up 96-83. -Of course there are some crashers: All Day finally loses its inertia 60-79, and I Want You to Know crashes 69-85 after the album launch. -An unbroken string of songs debuts lower: Stitches (#89), Loving You Easy (#90), Young & Crazy (#91), Buy Me a Boat (#92), You Changed Me (#93), Kiss Me in the Morning (#94), and Planes (#95). -Raise 'em Up barely hangs on after losing airplay support 84-99. -Back again for some reason is Flicka Da Wrist at #100. -Off the Hot 100 entirely are the aforementioned Take Me to Church, Please, and Feeling Myself along with Ayo (59-X, recurrent), Old Man (63-X), Beautiful Now (88-X), Change My Mind (92-X), She Don't Love You (93-X), Get Low (95-X), Stressed Out (97-X), and Games (99-X).

Hardly the holy grail of records, likely won't get noticed much outside this thread.
These are better ones:
Most weeks top 5
25 weeks, "Uptown Funk!," Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars, 2014-15
25 weeks, "How Do I Live," LeAnn Rimes, 1997-98
23 weeks, "The Twist," Chubby Checker, 1960-62
21 weeks, "Smooth," Santana feat. Rob Thomas, 1999-2000
21 weeks, "Un-Break My Heart," Toni Braxton, 1996-97
Most weeks top 10
32 - How Do I Live - LeeAnn Rimes 30 Smooth - Santana 29 Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO 28 You Were Meant For Me/Foolish Games Jewel 27 Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson

Uptown Funk managed to get back into the top 5. That makes me happy.

Congrats to MO, Major Lazer and Diplo hitting the top 25 with Lean On. Radio is finally starting to catch on as well. Perhaps they can make a play for the top 20 as soon as next week?
My feeling is that next week, Jason Derulo hits top 5 with Want to Want Me, Honey I'm Good hits the top 10 along with Cheerleader, and Budapest hits top 30.
