I have no idea why MCA didn't release another single off Forgive. Very strange.

Tim McGraw: "Shotgun Rider (2014)" This is another case of radio overplay; and once the glitter has fallen off, you'll discover the beauty. Ryan Kinder: "Tonight" (OK. This never charted; but still...) Brett Kissel: "Airwaves" (Massive Canadian #1. Was annoyed with the chorus and how "airwaves" was spelled out to fit the melody. Quite like it now)

Gloriana - "Can't Shake You"
This was charting during a time period where I was working a ton of hours at a minimum wage job and I had a rather personal relationship with someone special go sour, so I guess this song just fell through the cracks for me. I didn't really take to it whenever it came on in my car when it was out, but now that I get what it's talking about and I've grown older, I like it much better.

Lauren Alaina - "Next Boyfriend" Agreed. I've been listening to this a decent amount lately. Soooo catchy and her vocals are amazing.

"Like We Never Loved at All" by Faith Hill. I figured "Tim + Faith duet = bad" because I didn't like any of their other collaborations at the time, and was refusing to interpret it any other way. Then I realized it was the first duet they'd put out that wasn't a love ballad, and really got into it.

Charlie Worsham - "Want Me Too"
I always loved it but after being able to relate to it, I've grown a whole new appreciation for this song. The lyrics, instrumentation and production are spot-on.

Gloriana "Best Night Ever"
I've been listening to this and I just love Rachel's part (I wish somehow she could be a star😯)

I didn't like Faith Hill's "This Kiss" until well after the fact. I think because I just thought it was stupid fluff that got overplayed. It's still a very lightweight song IMO, but it's very catchy, and I like the way it works in obscure words like "Centrifugal", "perpetual", "pivotal", and "unsinkable".

Morgan Wallen - "The Way I Talk"
I'm really digging this now, especially the chorus.

I like Kellie Pickler's "Best Days of Your Life" a lot more after the fact. Still not an amazing song, but I see its charm. I think that was another one where I was following The 9513's opinion too closely.

SOMEBODY and CONSIDER ME GONE by Reba.
I love Reba but I've only always gotten into her major uptempos or ballads. Somebody and Consider Me Gone were just too mid tempo/middle of the road for me when they were on the radio.
I recently got into both of them due to a Reba playlist on Spotify. I really stayed listening to the lyrics and they are two amazing songs. I dare say...two of Reba's all time best!
