Was it the label politics with "Chris Brown"??
Did they really pull the plug on "Player" or was it just destined to underperform?

I miss those times when Tinashe was my IT girl that kept releasing the coolest mixtapes in the game. I'm disappointed in her, her naivity, off-putting attitude, and absolute lack of professionalism. No cute, Tinashe when you're trying to crawl out of a hole you don't keep digging it.

It doesn't remind me of a Ciara song per se'.
It does kind of remind me of slightly amped up "Promise Ring".
Tiffany Evans song ft Ciara.
I kind of like it.
It doesn't scream smash but it's cute.

Mmm, I definitely side eye it since Britney and T are both on RCA (so there's not really any excuse for RCA to not be aware of the timing at least with regard to Britney) but I'm not sure it matters so much. T wouldn't have been coming in with any major hype even if it was an otherwise empty week. The real test will be whether or not the label puts any push behind this at radio. Or for that matter, whether they even send it to any format other than rhythmic, as they have a bad habit of not doing that for her. |
