I had a list on my computer of about 120+ songs that were released during the year, and I don't even remember how a lot of the lower-charting songs sound like. Oops. I've got most of them in my music library though, so I can always go in and listen to them.
I may have posted my favorites of 2011 elsewhere on Pulse, but the list below is completely re-arranged as to how I feel about these songs now. I initially had some songs ranked much higher and others much lower, and so several of the ones that have been played to death over the years have fallen way down my list, or even off of it altogether, whereas others really grew on me even after they fell off the charts.
So anyway, here are my 50 favorite singles from 2011...ranked in order of how I feel about them now, in 2015.
01 Kenny Chesney - "Somewhere With You" 02 Kenny Chesney f/ Grace Potter - "You And Tequila" 03 Jake Owen - "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" 04 Tim McGraw & Gwyneth Paltrow - "Me And Tennessee" 05 Jason Aldean - "Tattoos On This Town" 06 Keith Urban - "Long Hot Summer" 07 JT Hodges - "Hunt You Down" 08 Brother Trouble - "Summer's Little Angel" 09 Zac Brown Band - "Colder Weather" 10 Brett Eldredge - "It Ain't Gotta Be Love" 11 Tim McGraw - "Felt Good On My Lips" 12 Little Big Town - "Kiss Goodbye" 13 Brad Paisley f/ Alabama - "Old Alabama" 14 Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood - "Remind Me" 15 Christian Kane - "Let Me Go" 16 Billy Currington - "Love Done Gone" 17 Jason Aldean - "Dirt Road Anthem" 18 James Wesley - "Real" 19 Margaret Durante - "Mississippi's Crying" 20 Brett Eldredge - "Raymond 21 Jamey Johnson - "Heartache" 22 Chris Young - "Tomorrow" 23 Toby Keith - "Bullets In The Gun" 24 Blake Shelton - "God Gave Me You" 25 Jason Aldean - "My Kinda Party" 26 Thompson Square - "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?" 27 Rodney Atkins - "Take A Back Road" 28 Uncle Kracker f/ Kid Rock - "Good To Be Me" 29 Eric Church - "Homeboy" 30 Taylor Swift - "Sparks Fly" 31 Easton Corbin - "I Can't Love You Back" 32 Eric Church - "Smoke A Little Smoke" 33 Reba - "When Love Gets A Hold Of You" 34 Taylor Swift - "Back To December" 35 Jeff Bates - "One Day Closer" 36 Darius Rucker - "This" 37 Justin Moore - "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" 38 Chris Young - "Voices" 39 George Strait - "Here For A Good Time" 40 Sunny Sweeney - "From A Table Away" 41 Darius Rucker - "I Got Nothin'" 42 Blake Shelton - "Who Are You When I'm Not Lookin'?" 43 Gwyneth Paltrow - "Country Strong" 44 Thompson Square - "I Got You" 45 Kenny Chesney - "Live A Little" 46 Miranda Lambert - "Baggage Claim" 47 Sara Evans - "A Little Bit Stronger" 48 Dierks Bentley - "Am I The Only One?" 49 Alan Jackson - "Long Way To Go" 50 Keith Urban - "Put You In A Song"

Bottom: 1. Jason Aldean- Dirt Road Anthem (one of my least favorite songs ever, I say that this song was one of the influences of bro-country) 2. Kip Moore- Mary Was The Marrying Kind 3. Craig Campbell- Fish 4. Edens Edge- Amen 5. JaneDear Girls- Merry Go Round (actually you can put any of their singles here) 6. Aaron Lewis- Country Boy (Get the hell out of country you washed up rock star!) 7. Zac Brown Band- Keep Me In Mind 8. Rascal Flatts- I Won't Let Go 9. Lady Antebellum- Just A Kiss 10. I actually have the list I first made in 2011. I would have to revise it, because while "Cost of Livin'" was my fave at the time, I don't think it's held up well. I'd probably put "You and Tequila" at #1 now and make a few other changes.

I remember WYRK playing "Cost Of Livin'" all. The. Time. They also loved spinning "Love Don't Run" and "Bait A Hook."
