He will be fine as long as SYA is not in the top 10 when he gets back and Shut Up and Dance is #1 and Uptown Funk becomes #1 for the decade and Happy stays ahead of Dark Horse ;)
LOL
Seriously though, do we really need to devote an entire thread to Mark G? Let's talk about the music.
EDIT: oops just saw the Lounge poll. So there is a entire thread in the Lounge devoted to Mark G. We can change the topic of this one no, I hope

Wild Child is doing surprisingly well on airplay but the sales and streams are low and album sales even more so. Interesting that a top 20 radio hit can't sell album at all.

Interesting that the top airplay longevity hits almost entirely exclude r&b hip-hop songs, the genre that does so well on a week to week basis and with high peaks.

No Jidenna - Classic Man on you list? It's not his list. We only get whatever information happens to be available. Technically, it's kind of illegal to have any of that airplay data. Not really, no.

Interesting that the top airplay longevity hits almost entirely exclude r&b hip-hop songs, the genre that does so well on a week to week basis and with high peaks. I think it's because with R&B/hip hop songs, the formats they get played on play often them at the same time. So you get songs like Rihanna - Rude Boy for example which climbs up pop/rhythmic/urban, peaks on each one around the same time, getting a huge airplay peak, then drops on all of them at the same time, resulting in not much longevity. This is the case with most of the hit R&B/hip hop songs (except in 2011-2012 when pop radio decided it couldn't play any urban music for some reason...). Only thing that could give those songs airplay longevity is if they manage to crossover to UAC/HAC/AC (like Happy, Blurred Lines, All Of Me, etc.). I haven't seen the list, but I'd imagine for longevity the ones that do the best will be the crossover country songs, since they usually go on country first, then pop/HAC/AC afterwards (Taylor Swift is the only artist atm who could release a song to pop/HAC and country at the same time, but from what I've heard she hasn't got any songs on her current album that can be played on country). Also alternative songs, if they start out on alternative/AAA first, then get played on pop a few months later, then get played on HAC/AC a few months after that, it could keep them in the airplay charts a long time.

Considering Jillboard and HR Chart both do top 100s, Testee's does a top 50 and 5th Cent recently resumed with a top 40, I think your top 25 is inadequate.

CHARLIE PUTH - Marvin Gaye f/Meghan Trainor: 0.984 (+ 0.202) Finally... I was getting ready to say that if Puth wanted to capitalize on his new fame for See You Again that he should push for Marvin Gaye to get some airplay. Another one of those videos I got to see over in Lucid's countdown (along with Pray to God) for the first time. For Jayhawk: Fight Song is probably rising because it feels positive, almost like an anthem of sorts. Also, I've noticed it some on Youtube being used for various charities like fighting cancer, for example.

SYA really being 'saved' by Hot AC and Urban, which I wonder was so late on this. It's been making significant strides on that format during the past two week. Urban AC looks like it's taking a pass - for now.

Personally, I'm happy because this ensures that we have a definitive #1 on most weeks in the top 5. Want to Want Me should deflate fast after last week's album launch, Earned It is on its way out, and Hey Mama, Honey I'm Good, and Cheerleader all haven't grown to the point of threatening that status.
