So what's the chance of Bad Blood reclaiming #1 this week? I'd give it 60 to 70 percent chance honestly. And thanks for those answering that question about Can't Feel My Face versus The Hills. I finally heard Face just now, and it reminds me of early 1980s Michael Jackson. Interested to see where that song debuts this week.

14. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 0.4449 Any explanation? Viral video. I don't understand how viral videos make songs that have already sold very well and were extremely popular come back to life, idg who is just now deciding to buy, especially considering how big it was on radio, also. For anyone who cares, I believe this is the video:

my god do people not get sick of watching the same videos for months? I've said it before, but the biggest shock for me now that we have streaming data is how people listen to the same stuff forever and ever. I used to think radio played songs out, but it's clear that a lot of people want to hear the same songs over and over. It's funny to me because the most played song on my iTunes/iPod has 107 plays total...and that's across 4 years! Lol! I cannot listen to songs as many times as a lot of people apparently do.

So, does Fight Song or Cheerleader have a better chance at going #1?

Cheerleader will probably be #1 at some point, Fight Song needs to rise on airplay very quickly to go top 5

So, does Fight Song or Cheerleader have a better chance at going #1? Cheerleader. It looks like a future Number one, perhaps in mid or late July. EDIT: Fight Song perhaps can peak in the top 10, but airplay and sales must improve.

Just amazed at Taylor's dominance on pop radio. Already at 150 million after a month?! Especially with a 4th single! You go girl!

Some people just like the video though. I always assumed youtube only counted unique views (like, you could hit refresh 100 times on the same video and it would only count as 1 single view).

I don't understand how viral videos make songs that have already sold very well and were extremely popular come back to life, idg who is just now deciding to buy, especially considering how big it was on radio, also. Considering there are 325MM people in US and over 123MM household, even a 2 million+ seller has plenty of room for growth. People discover music that is 'new' to them all the time - that's why deep catalog sales are still huge. Plus those viral surges on iTunes account for, what?, 10K 20K extra sales in a week? It's really not that much when you consider the overall potential market.

So, does Fight Song or Cheerleader have a better chance at going #1? Tbh I think both might make it. But at this point I would say Cheerleader has the advantage because it is much higher on Spotify if I'm not mistaken, as well as airplay. "Fight Song" is now #1 on iTunes. Still behind Bad Blood in overall sales since the latter has the original version in the top 25 as well. BB has a little over 20% lead over FS.
