Released in 2000 as the second single from The Heat. Produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. Peaked at #32 on the Hot 100 and #6 R&B/Hip-Hop. It was her last Top 10 R&B/Hip-Hop song.
I love it. Great vocal performance.

I love it except for the spoken parts. Then she just repeats the things he says in the lyrics, lol.

Great song. But poor choice for a second single.

I can't say that I listen to this one a lot, but it's a decent song.

I just love the whole vibe of this song. So laid back and Toni's vocal is fantastic. The bridge is awesome.

One of my fave tracks. It's like He Wasn't Man Enough pt. 2.

This song got so much airplay when it was out. I heard it more than βHe Wasnt Man Enoughβ which was the better song. It has held up nicely and I appreciate it more these days.

I love it. Her last GREAT single. Probably, though she's had some good ones since, albeit not on the level of most of the singles through this. This is a really understated single, but very powerful. I think she could have gotten another R&B hit off this album if they'd just followed it up with Maybe.

I like this one. It's a shame it killed The Heat, though, as it might be my favorite Toni album. I don't know what should have been the second single, though.

It was Toni Braxton last No. 1 on Urban AC until "Hurt You" w/Babyface hit #1 in 2014. This is a decent tune.

Solid song. This is an album I wish I liked more. "He Wasn't Man Enough For Me" is an all-time for me
