SBU in the top 10, Locked Away in the top 25, He- uh, you know what? I'm gonna speed this up and tell you the numbers I like seeing go up. (clears throat) ...32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 50, 53, and 57. (exhales) Well... uh, overall, I love seeing all these song risings, good chart. You might not get all you wish for this week, but most of the songs rose this week. And thanks for the complements.

Brianc2008's Top 70 for Week 20 Week of October 26-November 1, 2015
It was a tough week this week deciding who the number one song was going to be. Then I found my answer on the radio. Riding home from work Monday morning, riding home from class that afternoon, and riding back to class that evening, the same song played all three times. It was a sign. And thus, Elle King's Ex's and Oh's has her turn at the top. But like previous weeks, it won't be easy. Nick Jonas only slid one spot and is still gaining on the ranking points so he could claim the top spot next week. Plus, Fetty Wap, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Jarryd James might have something to say about the top spot. And let's not forget the shadow of Adele looming overhead that could make a mess of things next week. #hello Further down, Rumour Mill won't be denied as it enters the top 10. Locked Away and I Am enter the top 20. And Galantis, Kelsea Ballerini, and Drake enter the top 40 for the first time. Meghan Trainor and John Legend team up for the Hotshot Debut of the week with Like I'm Gonna Lose You which enters in at 45. They best 5 other artists with new entries, many of them charting for the first time. The exception? Demi Lovato, who enters in with Confident at #69. Pressure Off with Duran Duran and Janelle Monae just edged out Hula Hoop for that final spot. I think we got better organization with the chart this week than we did last week and make note of 3 things: 1) Records are now listed in the notes section. They're calculated from the position points that each song earns each week in the chart. 100 points equals a gold; 200 points a platinum; and every 200 points after that is another platinum. 2) This week marks the final week before recurrents start. Basically, if the song is below 35 and has been on the chart for 20 weeks, then it will be gone the next week unless it manages to get its bullet back from showing gains on the ratings points. And no, don't look for a recurrent chart. 3) I'll start a records section in this thread soon. That way I can keep track of things and you can follow alongside me. Thanks for tuning in and we'll see you next time. Brianc2008's Top 70 Week 21 For Week of November 2-8, 2015
This chart has now been around for 21 weeks which makes it old enough to drink. Compared to some charts, it's very young. Anyway in its 20 previous weeks, there has never been a song to debut at #1 before. You can look it up; it hasn't happened. Until now. Adele's Hello debuts at the top spot, saying hello to all the songs at its feet and goodbye to long climbs. With the sizable margin between 1 and 2, it appears the length of her stay at the top might also set records. Outside the top spot, Ex's and Oh's and Levels both came within eyelashes of #2. In the end, Ex's won out but just barely. Numbers 4-6 held steady from the week before. Rumour Mill climbed up from 8-7. And both Stole the Show and Break Up With Him rose 4 spots into the top 10. Further down, Locked Away soared 18-13, Burning House scorched 21-16, and Hands of Love surged 23-18. As always, I hope you like the chart and encourage you to come back next week. I think I know what you mean, but I will ask just in case. What do the two week curse mean? Ever since I started my chart, no song has lasted more than two weeks at the top. That's the two week curse. That kind of goes for me too. The only 3 songs to spend more than 1 week at #1 are: Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth- See You Again [3 Weeks at #1] Tove Lo- Talking Body [2 Weeks at #1] R. City ft. Adam Levine- Locked Away [6 Weeks at #1] So almost every song that gets #1 will most likely go down the next week. Hello was the closest to being the 4th song with more than a week at #1, but My Way had a huge points gain and barely beat it out. You can see how close it was on my chart, I posted it. Adele had a really good points week too.

Brianc2008's Top 70 Week 22 For Week of November 9-15, 2015 Adele has no problem staying on top a second week as Hello has over a 600 point week over its nearest competitor, previous chart-topper Ex's and Oh's. Carly Rae's Run Away With Me, Jarryd James's Give Me Something, and Rudimental's Rumour Mill all continue to gain but with a point gap of 900-1100 points, it could be several weeks before any of them cross through. Stole the Show had a tough challenge from Break Up With Him for the 6th spot, but ultimately the Kygos song won out. Levels plunges five spots as both Taylor Swift and Macklemore enter the top 10 this week. Further on out, big gains were the story of the day as Smoke Break, Wildest Dreams, Cecilia and the Satellite, Downtown, The Hills, Peanut Butter Jelly, Dibs, Hotline Bling, Don't Wait Up, That's How You Know, Southern Belle, Like I'm Gonna Lose You, Dime Store Cowgirl, How Deep Is Your Love, Confident, and Pressure Off (up 14 as the fast riser of the week) all showed gains of at least five spots this week. Only three debuts this week which ties for the lowest since this chart started a while back. They were led by KDA's Turn the Music Louder (Rumble) which features Tinie Tempah and Katy B. Louder lands in spot number 47. Thanks for tuning in and hope to see you next week when we reveal a new top 70. Brianc2008's Top 70 Week 23 For Week of November 16-22, 2015
Not much new going on in this week's top 5. Sure, Adele is the first song to break the three week curse. But both Hello and Ex's and Oh's lost their bullet and may be starting to fade. Fortunately for Adele, the gap between 1 and her competition is wide enough that she should have a few more weeks at the top. Also, 4 of the artists in the top 5 aren't American. Make of that what you will. The interesting things start at #6 where Old Dominion passed Kygos allowing Break Up With Him to reach a new high spot. Levels and Out of the Woods both fell out of the top 10 leaving room for Locked Away and I Am to take their spots. Just outside, Hands of Love, Burning House, and Here are waging a spirited battle to determine which song will be next to enter. But will any song fall? Seven newcomers this week led by Ariana Grande's Focus which debuts at 26 featuring Jamie Foxx. They beat out songs by One Direction, Justin Bieber, Red Sun Rising, Missy Elliott with Pharell, Mo Pitney, and Sia. Next week probably won't be as generous to newcomers. The dropouts include Photograph which fell out after the song was to land just outside the danger zone right around #36. Lawson's Roads departs after 20 weeks and former number ones Shine and Drag Me Down also fall out. I thank you for tuning in and hope to see you next time. Rooting for Alessia to make top 10. Checking my notes... Not yet, but she's moving closer. Sorry for the delay, but Thanksgiving messed my schedule up good. Will have last week's chart up by tomorrow.

Brianc2008's Top 70 Chart Week 24 From November 23-29, 2015Inertia. That's a state of rest where nothing much really moves in science. Just like our top 10. Funny and educational.
Adele claims the top spot for the fourth straight time with Hello, hot off an appearance on SNL. A change in the runner-up spot, though, as Carly Rae Jepsen takes it with Run Away With Me. Previous chart topper Ex's and Oh's dips to number 3 as the Elle King song is running out of juice. Give Me Something, Rumour Mill, and Break Up With Him holds tight at spots 4-6. Growing Up, Locked Away, and I Am hit new peaks at spots 7-9 as all three songs rise a spot. Kygos and Parson James's Stole the Show drops 3 spots to number 10.
Outside of the top 10 this week, a pair of follow ups ties for Fast Riser. OMI's Hula Hoop swings 49-44 as Halestorm's I Am the Fire scorches 52-47. John Newman's Come and Get It sinks 31-39 and lands the Fast Faller award. Wildest Dreams, Cecilia and the Satellite, and Downtown all climb 3 notches inside the top 20 this week.
In debuts and returns this week, the hotshot debut belongs to Duffy who makes a welcome return as Whole Lot of Love from the film Legend which stars Tom Hardy as the Kray brothers debuts at 54. Rachel Platten's followup to Fight Song Stand By You lands at number 62. And the bottom of the chart welcomes back two previous entries. Due to a resurgance on Billboard, 21 Pilots' song Stressed Out returns at 69. And landing in spot 70 is another recent SNL entry Omen from Disclosure featuring Sam Smith.
Thanks for tuning in and being patient and hope to see you real soon with next week's chart.

Brianc2008's Top 70 Chart Week 25 For Week of November 30-December 6, 2015The top 2 remain the same from last week as Adele's Hello takes a solid lead and Carly Rae Jepsen's Run Away With me closes in at second. Rumour Mill leapfrogs from 5-3 for Rudimental which keeps Jarryd James's Give Me Something at fourth. Old Dominion's Break Up With Him enters into the top 5, a spot that was vacated by Elle King's Ex's and Oh's. Spots 7-9 remain the domain of Growing Up, Locked Away, and I Am. And entering the top 10 this week is Miley Cyrus as Hands of Love strides in at the tenth position.
Outside the top 10, Peanut Butter Jelly glides into the top 20. Hotline Bling is the fast riser this week as the song dials up 5 positions for Drake. Robert DeLong enters the top 25 with his first hit Don't Wait Up and Meghan Trainor and John Legend enter the top 30 with Like I'm Gonna Lose You. Missy Elliott's WTF rises 4 to number 56 as this song is gaining some traction.
We hit a record low 2 entries this week as Muse's Mercy lands the top spot at an uninspiring number 64. And at the bottom lies G-Eazy as his song Me Myself I with collaborator/frequent charter Bebe Rexha debuts at 70. It'll be interesting to see where they land when all is said and done. If the past is any indication, more spots could open up next week. But how many more?
Thanks for tuning in and I hope to see you later this week as we hope to get fully caught up.

Hey dude, I quoted you in the Pulse FAQ thread. You might want to read it Sorry. Been a bit under the weather, but I did read your note and I'll give Imgur a try tonight. If it works, I can not only post here, but also in the weekly threads again. Which will make it worth it. Also, don't be surprised if you see this: {Spoiler} At least one new number one in the next three charts.

Brianc2008's Top 70 for Week 26 for Week of December 7-13, 2005
And after 5 weeks, the Queen has been dethroned. Long hail Carly Rae Legend! In its 19th week, Run Away With Me takes over the top spot from Adele's Hello which fell this week to 4th. Also jumping ahead is Rudimental's Rumour Mill which is poised in 2nd and Give Me Something from previous chart-topper Jarryd James which moves up to 3rd. Further down the top 10, Old Dominion's Break Up With Him crashes the top 5 as Macklemore's Growing Up, Awolnation's I Am, Miley Cyrus's Hands of Love, Cam's Burning House, and Alessia Cara's Here all rise in positions 6-10 respectively. In Cam's and Cara's case, each artist cracks the top 10 for the first time. For those playing along at home, foreigners have the top 4 spots this week and 5 of the top 10.
Further down the chart, Demi Lovato's Confident charges ahead 11 spots to crash the top 25. She's not the fast riser this week though as Missy Elliott and Pharrell's WTF jumps 12 spots to number 44. The Weeknd's latest Into the Night debuts at an impressive 25th, topping entries from Naughty Boy, Adele, and Troye Silvan in the process. In lesser news, Taylor Swift receives the fast faller award as Out of the Woods plummets 12 spots to number 38.
A quick note on the new look chart this week. Instead of asterisks located next to the Ratings Points (RPs), I bolded song titles that gained this week (I know there was a lot that lost bullets, but as long as the song is rising, it's probably good). Songs highlighted in red gained at least five spots while songs highlighted in blue lost at least five positions. Songs in green are debuts, with the hotshot debut in a lighter green than the other ones. Let me know what you think of the new format!
Thanks for your patience and I hope you keep watch next time as we continue to play catchup!
Dropouts:

Superlatives:
Fast Riser: Missy Elliott w Pharrell---WTF (Where They From) (56-44) Fast Faller: Taylor Swift---Out of the Woods (26-38) Hotshot Debut: The Weeknd---In the Night (25)
Bubbling Under:

Debuts:
The Weeknd---In the Night (sorry for the chart typo) Naughty Boy w Beyonce, Arrow Benjamin---Runnin' (Lose It All) Adele---When We Were Young Troye Sivan---Wild (sorry for getting the artist wrong)
Trivia: In reaching number one in its 19th week on the chart, Carly Rae Jepsen's Run Away With Me sets the record for longest rise to the top. She beats out the previous record holder Ed Sheeran with Photograph which topped the chart in its 18th week.

And let's not forget that Here is in the top 10. :) wait, is this based off of my idea? The chart presentation? I used Imgur to download the picture of the spreadsheet from the computer to the thread, which I believe was your idea. As for the colors of the chart, I'm just doing a trial run for what I might do in a few weeks. Basically, I'm highlighting big gainers/losers as well as debuting entries. Obviously, if you have any additional input, I'm interested.
