RE: the Super Bowl, according to Windmills the halftime performer has to agree to no US TV performances for at least 3-4 months prior. So, we can definitely rule out Carrie as a contender, then, since she'll be all over TV in October/November promoting the new album and the CMAs.

Not really mad about Entertainer... Carrie wasn't ever really a contender, although it would have been nice. I'd say "next year!", but... well, lol. We can only hope... I just genuinely hope Carrie wins Female Vocalist. She has certainly done more than enough to earn that one, and it would be a breath of fresh air. I'm not feeling too confident at the moment, but I don't think you can fully count Carrie out considering she did received a kicker nomination. We'll see! Uh, Miranda was never a contender. She got the nod over a woman who released a Gold greatest hits album and two number one songs compared to, well. Lol Uh, never mind, I'm not supposed to care, but man it's hard. Lol

LOL, CMA put all the ladies in Music Video category. Consolation award?
As for the album tracklisting reveal, I love it! Very creative!

That one sounds iconic.
ETA: "Choctaw County Affair" is written by a duo named Muddy Magnolias. Still unsure of the "Heartbeat" credits.

01. "Renegade Runaway" - (DeStefano, Lindsey, Underwood) 02. "Dirty Laundry" - (Crowell, Gorley, Lindsey) 03. "Church Bells" - (Crowell, James, Lindsey) 04. "Heartbeat" - (Crowell, Gorley, Underwood) 05. "Smoke Break" - (DeStefano, Lindsey, Underwood) 06. "Choctaw County Affair" - (White) 07. "Like I'll Never Love You Again" - (Lindsey, McKenna, Rose) 08. "Chaser" - (Elizondo, Lindsey, Underwood) 09. "Relapse" - (Caver, Haze, James) 10. "Clock Don't Stop" - (Daly, DeStefano, Lindsey) 11. "The Girl You Think I Am" - (Hodges, Lindsey, Underwood) 12. "Mexico" - (Higgins, Moore, Southerland) 13. "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" - (James, Lindsey, Underwood)
"Heartbeat" or "Mexico" is the sixth and final Carrie co-write. Still searching for credits on those two.
Kat Higgins recently followed Carrie on Twitter. Conveniently, she also has a recently registered track by the title of "Mexico."

Some VERY interesting titles. Some of her more intriguing, ever. Even more anxious to hear these songs now! Love that she's ending it with the song for Isaiah and Mike <3

Carrie knew her fans would be bummed out from the CMA nods, she decided to release the tracks tonight. Besides, she can talk to Fallon tomorrow about her new album and these tracks.

If you google Muddy Magnolias and "Choctaw County Affair," then you see the song (their version) was posted on SoundCloud a year ago. Taken down now though...

Love Junkies <3 Bummed that Matraca Berg and Brandy Clark both got cut short, as well as the Antonoff ones (I was intrigued). I'm looking forward to hearing all of these, but especially "Relapse" and "Choctaw County Affair".

I'm honestly most anxious, I think, to hear "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted". My brother and I were discussing yesterday the severe lack of love songs in Carrie's catalog, so it'll be nice to hear a new one, even if it's just one.
Also VERY excited for "Choctaw County Affair", "Mexico", and "Like I'll Never Love You Again".
I hope and pray the singles they release this time around are the best possible ones. I think that's been a downfall throughout Carrie's career, and I know we've discussed it before. I just hope the label waits to hear the fan's reactions to the songs before deciding the singles. Or, in the very least, let the fans pick one of the singles. Lord knows if we got to chose a single during the Blown Away era, "Whine After Whiskey" would not only have been chosen, but probably one of Carrie's biggest hits to date!
Well, anyway, I'm super excited and anxious to hear these songs! I'm hoping for a level of cohesiveness, which seems to be people's biggest criticisms of Carrie's albums. Hopefully she can win some critics over this time!

Did you guys pay attention to the illustrations per chapter? Looks like those who theorized that, with Carrie as the storyteller, one music video will continue on to the next single and so on, might be correct. "Smoke Break" ended with her on the road again flipping through songs on the radio that to my ears also had her voice. The illustration for "Renegade Runaway" is the desert and for "Dirty Laundry", a red dress which looks very similar to the one she was wearing in the BTS videos. Next singles?

Well "Renegade Runaway" was the song that was playing in the truck while Carrie was driving at the beginning and end of the video for "Smoke Break". It did seem very catchy/radio-friendly based on the small clip we heard, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the next single or a single at some point. If it is, and this "pattern" is true, we'll probably have to wait for that video before we get a hint as to what the 3rd single will be (and so forth). However, I am just excited for the album! These song titles are really interesting! P.S. What are the "BTS videos" that you're referring to where she was wearing a red dress?

antBTS = Behind the Scenes. You can find them on Youtube, and "Entertainment Tonight" may still have them up on their website.
