She just posted a dubsmash on Instagram and Twitter of her lip syncing to "Georgia On My Mind" with the hash-tag #CMTInstantJam Info about "Instant Jams": www.cmt.com/news/1757186/cmt-instant-jam-concerts-scheduled/So, Carrie's is likely in ATL, or somewhere in Georgia, and from the looks of it it's happening tonight (her dubsmash was filmed on what looks like a moving bus). ... or they'll announce how to get the tickets tonight and hold the concert tomorrow?

There's supposed to be an announcement tomorrow at 9am. My guess is they'll announce the show and where to get tickets tomorrow morning, with the show happening in Atlanta tomorrow night.

Is it possible Carrie could be doing that all girls tour she's been mentioning for awhile? Lauren AND Kelsia (who's been mentioned, too), could be touring with her.

I wouldn't mind an all girls tour but I would like the girls to be more established and more of a draw for the tour. I know Kelsea's had 1 hit but as far as I know Lauren has had no success at all. Touring with Carrie will benefit both girls but would it add significantly to ticket sales? I think not. However, I can see Carrie doing something like this..and maybe through Cam into the mix since she's opening for her in London.

Storyteller is now available for pre-order on iTunes, and they have a headlining banner on the home page of iTunes promoting it. Starts out currently at #199 on all-genre albums chart. Preorder here!

She'll be co-hosting CMT Top 20 Countdown with Cody Allan sometime in October. Date hasn't been confirmed, but I imagine it'll probably be October 24 or October 31, since she'll likely be in NYC for album promo on Friday the 23rd, as usual, and she'll have to be in Nashville for the following week after street week for the CMAs.
Also, the album is still climbing in preorders on iTunes, up to #19. This is very good.

Would love to see her make an appearance on "Ellen", "The Talk" and/or "The View", and a few other shows as well. I'm sure, like usual, her promo schedule will be stacked! Can't wait for Carrie to take over my TV!

I'll always be a resounding no to "The View". I MUCH rather "The Talk", but there's only two of the sort to chose from, really, in terms of there being a TV audience large enough to make the visit worth while. So considering that, I leave both options out there... Any chance to see Carrie on TV is a chance worth taking! Hahaha

Is 150K a realistic expectation for 1st week sales?

Is 150K a realistic expectation for 1st week sales? Personally, I think she'll rather easily cross 200k, but I could be wrong. It has been a few years since I've paid any attention to album sales. "Blown Away" sold 267k in its first week in the Spring of 2012... This will be releasing in Q4, albeit 3.5 years later. The promo, however, seems to be in line to be just as big as her previous eras. So my guess is 200k-250k. I could be overshooting, though. We'll see in a few weeks!

Is 150K a realistic expectation for 1st week sales? I was thinking 175k, so we aren't far off. I'm obviously hoping it'll cross the 200k mark, but I'm keeping my hopes at a moderate and sane level this time around, especially considering her competition, 5SOS, is already pegged by HITS to sell 300k, so #1 is looking to be out of the question. Her preorders on iTunes have been consistently building over the course of the past two days, though, which is a good sign; it's now up to #12 all-genre, and #2 on Country.

I see 137k first week. Putting her a bit above Lana Del Rey's first week.

I see 137k first week. Putting her a bit above Lana Del Rey's first week. I have a hard time believing she'll sell less than 150k in her first week. Carrie has never opened with less than 250k. Except, of course, for her "Hits" collection which sold 94k in its debut week and set all kinds of records... 250k will certainly be tough, but I definitely think she'll sell well past 150k. When will official predictions start to come out? I know HDD reports their predictions the week before, but are there other publications that predict album sales?

Her Hits album had a big #1 hit attached to it. The first single from this album has thus far peaked at #5.

Her Hits album had a big #1 hit attached to it. The first single from this album has thus far peaked at #5. Which chart? Hot Country Songs? I could be wrong but I don't think SITW peaked until after the album release. But you're right, SITW was huge and surely generated a lot of sales. "Smoke Break" isn't exactly a disappointment, though, as it is currently skyrocketing in airplay and has steadied in its sales. If SB is peaking around the time the album comes out, which looks very possible at this point, that would definitely help. But still, I think anything less than 150k would be disappointing, in all honesty... I have a hard time believing she'll sell less than 150k in her first week. ^While the sales are impressive, I don't see any "records" this hits album set...the first GH album to sell so much "since..." doesn't mean much...

^While the sales are impressive, I don't see any "records" this hits album set...the first GH album to sell so much "since..." doesn't mean much... It's besides the point. My intention in saying that was only to show that Carrie isn't known for mediocre sales, she's know for bigger-than-average sales, and as recently as 10 months ago that trend continued. But we'll see in a month!

I'm not disagreeing with you. I think Carrie will open with at least 200k. I'm just saying the hits album didn't actually set any records.

I know Carrie loves big hair and her long hair extensions, but.... truthfully, I am ready for a different hairstyle in the new era.
Not that I'd like her any less if she doesn't change her hair though, lol. Just that I think a fresh look will be nice for a change...
