"donkey" at least has a slight feeling of deliberate parody to it, so that, even though both are shit

"Donkey", and it's not even remotely close.
Jerrod never took the song seriously (though it never should have been released to radio) and it was just a parody type of song, just for laughs. It's really bad I know, but in terms of vitriol, I hold other country songs higher in that regard, recently.
"Ridiculous" is not clever. It's crude. Horrid vocal performance. Horrible lyrics. Not country in the slightest. It's shameful she's signed to EMI Nashville.

"Donkey" isn't really a bad song honestly, I mean it is pretty funny and definitely a good song for when you're drinking or partying. But it's not the type of song you want to hear 500 times on the radio. I'm fine with it being an album cut, but not a single.

"Ridiculous." There's basically nothing country about it, but ignoring that it reminds me of a Ke$ha/Iggy Azalea hybrid and I like both of those artists (Ke$ha in particular). There's nothing I like about "Donkey" and I've never cared for Jerrod Niemann, either -- "One More Drinkin' Song" is the one single of his that isn't a station changer for me.

Donkey. Had never heard the other song before, and I couldn't even make it through half of it. Not that Donkey is great by any means, but tolerable at least..

Actually, I could jam to "Donkey" so it gets my vote. I mean, it is catchy and I like the rowdier/rocking sound anyway.
"Ridiculous" is awful and Haley Gerogia's voice is atrocious, especially for that kind of song. She should just stick to singing Iggy karaoke.
