This was the B-side to Jellybean's single "Just A Mirage" which was a totally different song. JAM was a Hi Nrg/Eurobeat song whereas "Mirage" was a Freestyle one. This song didn't chart on its own, however, it was a local hit in the markets where Freestyle music was popular and thriving. It is considered to be an influential release for the genre. This song is notorious for the main lyrics sung by India being so unintelligible that even nearly 30 years later, many are still wondering what she is saying. It has been said that India improvised the lyrics as she was recording them in the studio as she was told to just "feel the groove and go with it" so she did. She has performed the song live numerous times and it's clear that there are some lyrics, but some of it is just vocalizing and scatting.
I absolutely love this! It's one of the greatest Freestyle records ever. I love the infectious groove of the production and then India's atmospheric vocals.
