Dug my CD collection out the closet over the weekend and will now be on a nostalgia trip for the rest of the year. Am I the only one that remembers Angel Grant? I believe she was the only official release from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' Flyte Tyme Records. They executive produced the entire thing and I remember her single, Lil' Red Boat, getting a lot of play on BET's Midnight Love. Some of the album is just flat-out cheesy and corny from a lyrical standpoint but the production is top-notch smooth R&B all the way.
