I pretty much gave up on her after her EP but I am still rooting for her and happy for her success. She remains pretty visible, which is only going to help her as she (hopefully) continues to grow. I will be looking out for her SNL appearance.

Of course she picked my least favorite potential next single choice to perform (not that it's a bad song, but when you have "I'm Yours," "Seventeen," "Overdose," "Outlaws," and "Stone" left...). Then again, I wouldn't have picked "Wild Things" or "Scars To Your Beautiful," and the latter is a #1 hit, so she probably doesn't need my help.  |

Wasted potential ugh :( I think there weren't any sure hits/album hype wasn't really there. A good debut, but wasnt exactly a critically acclaimed smash, and the first single was the best song on it. The Stay collab and Logic song were way better to be involved in than her own material radio/promo wise. She's set herself up nicely for a big second era it she delivers the material. |

"i'm yours" was a sure hit given its sales during the successes of her other singles, but having two big collabs following "scars" didn't really leave any room for another single from her debut.

I bought the album a couple of months ago and "I'm Yours" instantly became my favorite Alessia song. I love "Stay," too, but it's still such a shame that wasn't a single. Love it.
