Girl, you wouldn’t believe how giddy and just crazy happy I was when they got back together in 2021!! I had the same reaction as Jennifer Lawrence, I was like a little kid excited that Bennifer was reunited and giving their romance a second chance. It always felt like Bennifer 1.0 came to an end abruptly and they were just MEANT to find their way back together, ya know!! My little JLover heart just couldn’t take this (yes, I said JLover; before I became a lamb, I was a low-key JLover and I always will have a soft spot for Jen.) So, yes it’s one of those things in J.Lo I find relatable… that she puts love before everything, like, she lives for romantic love, to her own detriment sometimes as it showed now with Ben. So, when he acted the way he acted now and just basically left her hanging - AGAIN. Oh hell no! I've done an 180 on Bennifer, she is a thousand times better off without that raging, immature, egotistical narcissist in her life. She definitely deserves better, like you say. Him absolving himself of any responsibility over their breakup, trying to smear her, ghosting his freakin *wife*, leaving HER to try and work shit between them whereas he basically checked out on their marriage, and likely moved on with that Kennedy woman or whoever else possibly… I just can’t stand this douche. Hope for her sake she moves on to something healthier and puts herself first. Hope if nothing else, there won’t be Bennifer 3.0, like, ten years from now.

Sigh. Anyway, forgive my tangent, but I’m invested like that cause I really wanted this to have a fairytale ending… first, cause I’m a sucker for that kind of great romance myself, like I said, and second cause I really root for Jen. But to see the dissolution of this whole thing and not only that, in the worst way given how he acted… it has my blood boiling!!!!

Anyways, yeah Jenny is looking FABULOUS and I love that, and I also love that it’s coupled with praise on her Unstoppable performance. On to greater, better days, baby! 💚💚💚

Dreams I completely agree. I was over the moon when they reunited. I thought for sure this was it this time and saw no way where they couldn’t work things out if problems arose. I can’t believe Ben did the exact same thing again that he promised he wouldn’t do. I think that’s what annoys me the most. She was minding her business when he slid into her inbox. She was hesitant to start over and he love bombed her and promised things would be different this time. That’s where the whole not.going.anywhere shit came from. Ugh. I know she’s heartbroken but I hope this time she will see who he truly is and no longer romanticize him and their relationship. He doesn’t deserve it.

Anyway, the good reviews keep pouring in for the film and her performance. Idk if she’ll get a nom after they royally snubbed her for Hustlers, but it’s nice to have some positive press after the year of negativity.

Also, we don’t know the context of their conversation but she says “I’m a bad picker” and “it is what it is” with a laugh. I can only imagine what she’s referring to 😭.

I'm going to guess probably not. It was 20+ years ago and to be honest (and coming from someone that's been immersed in pop culture for around the same amount of time), I didn't even know they had that much of a history. My first ever "memory" of her being in a relationship spawned from "Bennifer." Don't think anyone will really care or remember it tbh. Will she probably get asked about here and there? Maybe. But it was not much of a cultural moment in the grand scheme of things. Celebrities date and break up with each other all the time. Given how long it's been, I can't really see her getting wrapped up in this.
