My coworker saw Atlas and said it was solid. I'll probably watch it this week. Meanwhile, Broken Like Me came on today and I fell in love with it all over again, especially in my new headphones. I really hope she is OK, but she is resilient and from the Bronx. Only survivors come out of there.

Looks like her PR team finally woke up and has started firing back.
No lies told.

YAAAAASSSS!!! Come through for Jennifer and brag about those well-earned accomplishments!!! She's right too! What triple threat at JLo's age is having the success she is? She may not be going platinum, but baby she still has them tuned tf in to watch!

Matthew McConaughey praised Jennifer in a recent interview and I love how absolutely passionate he is about her lol. "A five threat is what she is!". Okay Matthew! 3:11

I dare anyone to find many examples of those in such a sexist ageist industry/world.

So?. Why do people always think this makes a woman problematic lol.
Of course you don't. You are not a superstar .
This perfectly sums up this entire hate train. No facts, logic, or proof. Just feelings. As if Mehgan is so important that Jennifer or her team are targeting her video whilst ignoring the millions of others.
So? lmao. It's literally their job and Jennifer pays them extremely well. How is this a problem?.
We reached the end and she still didn't tell us what exactly made J.Lo not a nice person. She had an entourage with a glam squad touching up her makeup.
This sounds like a classic case of the bully being threatened and jealous of the pretty girl. Just the mere presence of JLo made her pressed af.

She said Jennifer "couldn't even fake it for 10 minutes" of their segment so I went back and watched the episode she's referring to....lmao. This is the "nasty person" in question.

I was going to get a copy of her album on vinyl but I couldn’t decide between the Target edition with the alternate artwork/red vinyl or the Urban Outfitters with the glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Additionally, I didn’t realize the digital version on her store includes commentary tracks. Or maybe I should just do all three? Take my money Jennifer!

As a vinyl connoisseur, I can tell you to be careful with glow in the dark vinyl of all kinds. The sound quality is abysmal even on the best turntable setup. Unless you’re collecting it for the aesthetic, I wouldn’t make it my top choice.

I’m typically not a conspiracy theorist, but you can’t convince me this isn’t an organized hate campaign and bandwagon out to take her down. It’s disheartening, but also a testament to her tenacity. She’s never going away. Records are still being broken, she’s still in the conversation of pop culture, and the real ones will ride for her because they’re more interested in her humanity as opposed to clickbait narratives. Onto the next project, onto the next victory.

I wonder why a hate train now? It makes no sense to me....if anything during her remix album era would have made more sense. She's isn't in her prime anymore so this is completely weird.

I wonder why a hate train now? It makes no sense to me....if anything during her remix album era would have made more sense. She's isn't in her prime anymore so this is completely weird. The movie and the doc; particularly the doc got a lot of ridicule. Once social media got a taste of blood I don't think there was anything she could do that isn't gonna feed into the hate narrative. Then the numbers we do have for the album and tour weren't great. Honestly a break for the rest of the year could be good for her. Her Netflix movie did about as well as a Netflix movie can do (this is more of a Netflix dig - they'll claim billions of minutes watched but that will never match the impact of true cinema hits), so she ain't exactly bleeding money in any way. I do feel she might have a lot of "yes ma'am" people on her team. She needs to decline some of these shitty movies ("Atlas" did great but it's bullcrap). Just a few years ago "Hustlers" put her on the map again as a serious actress and she has since done NOTHING to keep that narrative going.

This hate train is so exhausting. Nothing I have been hearing has even been especially “scandalous”.
I was just remembering when I got the “if you had my love” single for my 13th bday in 1999 (lol I feel old!) and being so excited. It was the maxi single and I listened to it over and over and over. I can’t believe that was 25 years ago!
I still love “on the 6”!

This hate train is so exhausting. It truly is. Everyday it's something different and stupid. The other day I was scrolling instagram and came across a video of two male podcasters describing their "nightmare" JLo story. I was expecting something truly horrific but the nightmare in question was her simply saying "No" when they asked her if she wanted a drink right as she was set to give an interview. I hate these people.

Happy Belated 10th Anniversary to AKA: Memories! Some of her best songs are on here. "First Love" is so underrated. That bridge! "Booty" should've been the first single though. Top 3 for me: So Good First Love Worry No More

She is still relevant and she still looks as beautiful as ever. Not everyone is in this category.

The hate that she has been receiving is ridiculous. Jennifer is a successful woman who has been in the business nearly 30 years now. No sure why people want to consistently knock her down

People, especially, always like to come for her singing vocals. They think in order to qualify as a "singer", one must sound like Mariah or Whitney. People put way too much emphasis on that.
I'm like who cares...as long as the music sounds good, and she always puts on a great show...a one hell of a great show I may add.

People keep bringing up her "stolen vocals" and like, that's usually how demos work in the first place. They knock her down for something all artists do...

People keep bringing up her "stolen vocals" and like, that's usually how demos work in the first place. They knock her down for something all artists do... What's even worse is that we literally have Ashanti & Christina Milian on VIDEO in multiple interviews saying she didn't steal anything, that they were credited and paid and that it's standard practice in the music industry to use background vocalists for different textures and layers. People ignore that though because they actually don't care about this "issue" at all and just want to join the bandwagon.

Question about This Is Me…Now the film:
Would it be eligible for both the Emmys and the Grammys?
It was released on a streaming service, so I guess that qualifies it in the TV category? Or is there a rule about it having to been broadcast on a network?
As for the Grammys, I’d think it’d be eligible for the Best Long Form Video category, which I hope it gets. If it does, would she get the nomination, or would it be only for the director/producers?
I guess perhaps The Greatest Love Story Never Told might be eligible for both too?
Last year, Lewis Capaldi’s Netflix documentary earned him his first nom, but only at the Grammys.

Popular comedian Nikki Glaser talked about the hate train and how her hate for J.Lo stemmed from jealousy. She perfectly sums up how the out of context hate videos and hate comments, likes etc brainwash people into forming their opinion & hating something/Jennifer.

Last year, Lewis Capaldi’s Netflix documentary earned him his first nom, but only at the Grammys. Idk about the Emmys but both would eligible for Best Music Film (the new title); they removed the requirement for the footage having to be 51% performance-based. The performer(s), director(s) and producer(s) all get an award.
