If I Were A Becky is easily the worst song from her catalogue. I respectfully disagree. I'd much rather listen to IIWAB than Sandcastles. EDIT: OMFG I forgot about "Check On It" from cynthia rose's post

Truth is, when "Partition" comes on I just leave whatever I'm doing and just try to recreate the mv in my room, queen of classy but lit sex songs.
Ps: 7/11 is my jam too even though the gp dislikes it for not being "quality Beyoncé". Shut your mouths. Every kind of Beyoncé is quality.

#late, but definitely agree that "If I Were A Boy" and "Check On It" are garbage. I've loved pretty much every other single that she's released barring those two.
"7/11" still goes OFF. It never fails to put me in a great mood.

'Check On It' was one of my favorite songs of 2006. Y'all cray.
7/11 is horrible, hot garbage though.

7/11 isn't bad but I just think Blow would've been a superior single pick, it also has an awesome MV Check On It is my least faved of the singles, it just never lasted long on me but I occasionally listen to it

7/11 grates on my ears anytime I try to listen to it.
I much prefer "Ring Off" and always think of Ms. Tina. Also, I wish she'd officially released the original "Standing On The Sun" audio, I'm not such a fan of the Mr. Vegas Remix, but the original could've been a massive smash if it weren't for an H&M campaign.

Beyonce & MC were spotted together at Nobu restaurant the other night. I know they are friends but maybe just maybe they were talking about something more than just twins. ;) Could be the ultimate girl power collaboration ever! www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCb37W9B09s

What do you guys think about Shining? I was sure it'd be at least moderately successful, but it seems Beyoncé just can't get a hit these days, no matter what. The song has 26 million streams on Spotify. DJ Khaled's new (inferior IMO) song is about to do that in one week. I don't get it.

Anticipation Justin Bieber Quavo (Migos) Chance the Rapper A Music Video There you go. Beyonce nor JAY Z are huge when it comes to streaming and nobody except Khaled has done any type of promo for the song.

But why shouldn't Beyoncé be huge on streaming? She's a huge star and most of her audience listens to music online - especially one that is not on her album. Was I the only one surprised at how little Shining did considering the names involved?

Jay Z is not only no longer a heavy-lifter name when it comes to features, I almost feel like some fans are lowkey turned off at the prospect of anything Beyonce-related also involving him. I always see random comments throwing shade with the 'stay retired, please.' Bey on her own or with a different feature might have done better. Even then, I'm not so sure Shining would have gone that much further - there's been no promo for it and it's hard to say if Beyonce's core audience is all that into streaming when it comes to her, since her branding now pretty much revolves around a sense of exclusivity.

I agree that Jay probably didn't help but the song was just so good I really wanted to see it becoming a hit! Or Running, for instance, another great song B was featured in but her name didn't seem to do much for it either.

Book's a bit overkill. I've been wanting a vinyl of the album since it came out. I'll take that.

I do wonder how much is Beyonce willing to sacrifice commercial visibility of her music and brand to accommodate Jay Z?
It's been a year and it looks like neither Lemonade nor its singles are going to any relevant streaming platform.
Columbia practically had to negotiate with Tidal for months to upload some videos on YouTube.
Her next album probably won't even be available to buy on iTunes.

According to Matthew, the twins have arrived. I am hoping she takes a few months break, and then gets back to business. I am ready for album 7!

I hope the babies inspire fun and funky Yoncé to come back around. She dropped two critically acclaimed masterpieces on the world and still couldn't get that AOTY Grammy so fukk 'em! Let your hair down, Bey!

I find it hard to believe the twins as a source of inspiration is good news. Imho Blue and God Made You Beautiful are pure filler. But she did record a part of ST while pregnant. So there is some hope.
